Talking about the Articles of Impeachment somberly and finally being delivered to the Senate. I think the black lady had them on a pillow as if it were a crown. Doesn't get no better than that to put a face on it.

As for me the President wasn't impeached at all. And history will someday bear that out.

It's because the Framers of the Constitution, wisely, foresaw what has just happened for the first time in history....a partisan House of Representatives using their power attempting to remove a President from office simply because they didn't like him or disagreed with him, or in this case, feared their magnanimous crimes would come to light .

That's not how you preserve a democratic Republic. It's Third World stuff. The Framer's remedy for removal, that it be a bipartisan agreement of High Crimes and Misdemeanors, was to require 2/3 of the Senate to agree there were High Crimes and Misdemeanors. Those guys were pretty smart.

But, in Nancy's now putrid adulterated House of Reps, not a single one of the minority opposition agreed there were High Crimes and Misdemeanors....soak it in, that's not bipartisan! Basically Nancy raped the brains of old dead white men

But it is masterfully designed campaign crap.

Before it even goes forward, most people paying attention realize the case has no merit.

That being said- would you prefer the case to be heard and a verdict reached in the Senate or have a majority vote to toss it out without it being heard to its end?

Do you think presidents should be able to shake down vulnerable foreign nations to get them to announce investigations against their political rivals?

Excellent question. Both scenarios have merits and downsides.

If the senate dismissed the impeachment out of hand, it would show that the senate considers what the democrats did was unjustified. Democrats would claim, of course, that the trial was unfair and the media would dutifully follow suit. I think the bulk of the American people know better, however.

On the other hand, should this actually warrant a trial, the American people would see just how frivolous the charges against Trump are. Trump prefers this course because he wants his name cleared, but McConnell talked him out of it because it gives the democrats more time to rig the process. We know that anything said during testimony is going to be twisted by the democrat media and it may work against Trump in the public's mind. I'm sure this is why Pelosi and the fascist dems are pushing so hard for the trial. They know the press will lie for them.

So, I think I would prefer they just dismiss the impeachment, take the criticism, and beat the hell out of democrats in 2020 :)

Fairy tale? It’s just a generic question.

    What’s your answer?

Yeah, they are, but we're not talking about electing someone; we're talking about the democrat criminal filth that can't t tolerate who was elected out of fear and nothing else.

This transparent stunt notwithstanding, there will be a day of reckoning and they know it.

Yeah that's probably best. Though I would prefer a full blown trial with material witnesses like Comey, Clapper, Lynch, Brenan, and ringleader Obama to seat in the hot seat for a couple of days each and see who sweats the most.

And I'm not thrilled Justice Roberts is in charge given his name was on the manifest of one of Epstein's Loloita Express fiights.

You gotta wonder just how deep the Deep State is, and it's biggest adversary is the defendant in this trial.
