you want the ability to opt of paying for M4a, and I want the ability to opt out of funding the wall... If only it worked that way.

What wall funding.... yes?
I dont follow.

My position: if we want MC4A..... then everyone will pay...but dint of higher taxes. not the top 1, 3, or 5%.... all.

if it's a 5% tax increase across the board to do so...do so.

The polarization is a symptom of the ruling capitalists’ despair ... none of the capitalist factions can solve the deep crisis of American capitalism ... therefore they lash out at each other in their scramble to find scapegoats and to plunder the corpse of the capitalist system ... the only solution is a viable social system (socialism).
That just set us back thirty years..

Where has real socialism worked?

Yes, I agree M4A for will be paid for by everyone.
Healthcare represents 18% of GDP, subtract the third of that is already paid in medicare/medicaid taxes. and you are looking at an across the board tax increase of about 12% before we make any assumptions about cost containments. Employers pay half of FICA taxes and I assume that would stay the same. So I agree, 5% is a decent ballpark figure.

Name a program that the government does more cost efficient then the private sector?

I worked at DFAS the military accounting division and I can tell you there is nothing the US Government does efficiently.

How will "everyone" pay for it when "everyone" doesn't pay Income taxes? Hell, many get more back than they paid in Income taxes and Poke is $34 Trillion short of funding it.
