..When Hollywood ..Nestled in California becomes the moral barometer of our nation..

You know..The home of rampant gang violence, all manner of debased depiction in film and media.. oh, and the home of the multi billion dollar porn industry....

Yeah..Right.

I have to agree. That is certainly one way to know.
Those masters of marital relationships, navigators of living a perfect personal life, and stars of morality are telling us what we should be thinking.

Ahhh yes. The Movie Star. Who better to guide us?

The leftists rant about Trump being an "entertainer" and knows nothing of politics.
Yet they'll suck in every word from other 'entertainers' that also knows nothing about politics! Lol! Can you say "DUMB"?

Yeah..Right.
It's shameful but apparently that's the truth. Real Christians -- as the Christian right claims to be should have been the moral barometer.
I don't recall any religious leaders speaking out over Trump's bullying of the disabled reporter.
It's obvious by Trump's behavior -- he doesn't know right from wrong.

I recall all the admiration some of you here at PJ had for Ted Nugent a while back... he's a real hero, not!

In all honesty, this is a difficult post to respond to. Christians, at least practicing Christians, must have had a hard time voting for Trump. The double talking mainstream guys like Pat Robertson are not the guys I had in mind.

OTOH, you talk about a disabled reporter being bullied, but as I saw it, the reporter drew first blood. If this had been a physical bullying, you might have a point. But, when you are trying to use the power of the media to be a bully, physical handicaps are not relevant to that kind of fight.

We're always debating who holds the highest moral ground. The left absolutely doesn't have any monopoly on any portion of morality. The left produces the most mass murderers, the most criminals over-all, and the whores out of Hollywood are a joke even unto themselves.

There was no speaking out over it because he DIDN'T bully (or mock) that reporter. To keep repeating that he did, doesn't make it the truth. He's done the same thing to other people, just happens that the reporter that time was disabled....oops. But it gave liberals a reason to attack him.

I agree practicing Christians should have had a very hard time. Trump is a pathological liar for starters, he has offended all races/still offends those disagreeing with him.
I don't care for some of the TV evangelicals either. But still one would expect some to be pointing out Trump's ungodly/immoral behavior.

Trump has no empathy -- verbal attacks on those opposing him are Trump's way of being vindictive. This is something he is well known for.

The left may not be perfect -- but in their defense -- they have never described themselves the way the Christian right has.

It's on video, Trump's arms and hand movements in the video tell the truth.

Liberals don't need a reason to attack Trump. Trump is his own worst enemy.

I would agree with most of what you say. However, you state that"the left may not be perfect - but in their defense - they have never described themselves the way the Christian right has."

The reason for that is the Christian right is basically one entity with no significant differences. I disagreed with the "Christian right" on the immigration issue and found myself persona non-grata. The left is full of atheists, communists, socialists, and single issue voters (gay rights, civil rights, pro-abortion) so they don't have a stated agenda. The left is only united by their commitment to destroy the Republic and finish off the Constitution.

At some level, the Christian right deserves the beat down by the left. The Christian right has watered down their own religious values; they have turned against many of the foundational principles upon which this country was founded. The Christian right compromises with the most vile and evil people on earth, many times fearful of having to stand for their principles (which are reviled by the masses.) They seek out the accolades of mainstream when standing for unpopular principles could cost the Christian right. What really speaks so loudly is that in a country of over 300 million people, Trump and Clinton were the choices for standard bearers.

Identity-Theft Guilt

Americans are brought up to look down upon themselves. That carries over even to those who become famous. Their inferiority-complex shame splits them in two, one part seeking to be somebody and the other part whispering, "Who do you think you are? You were born a nobody and should have stayed that way." That part told Elvis he was really a dumb low-wage hillbilly truck driver in way over his head.

I've suffered that condition a time or two myself. But, what I'm more concerned with, from the right, is that best among us isn't very intelligent. Chuck Schumer, the most repulsive politician in America, just handed Mitch McConnell a load of butt hurt. If you're going to expect your opponents to meet a certain standard, you should expect you may have meet that expectation at some point.

As a Southern Baptist, McConnell should have known that part in the Bible about doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

And again, the standard bearer is Donald Trump? Christians were reduced to supporting that???

Yeah..Right.
There is a vacuum in the Democrat party that Hollywood is trying to fill. Maybe their next leader will come out of Hollywood.

I think they should champion Kersten Gillibrand.

Again....he's done the SAME THING with many others! It had nothing to do with the guy being handicapped. But of course you and all the others can't even contemplate that, you would never even think to admit he wasn't picking on the guy but merely doing what he does. I saw the video, I've seen the other video's of him doing the same thing to people that aren't disabled. You have nothing!

The man will rip anyone, the reporter would have been ripped if he wasn't disabled.

I always thought that was called being humble. I don't consider it a bad trait. :)
