what's wrong with the idea of economic patriotism, Lukey, you don't believe buying American? Why wouldn't you want companies to keep employees here in the states, why woudn't you want consumer confidence....oh yeah, wait... you're a republicon. There's nothing wrong with REAL (old fashioned) economic patriotism - getting educated, getting a job, buying local and pulling your own weight to help build a vibrant, prosperous, sustainable economy. But what Obama said (and what I object to) is his idea of a "new" economic patriotism. I know what he means by that. It's code for communism!

and last I checked, posters posting our opinions (ie placing our own meaning) about comments made by either political sides' remarks is what we DO here, and what we have ALWAYS done here since we first arrived, unceremoniously.
Chastising another poster for their political views or comments would be different if you were a mere poster here. Can't see that difference?
