For many it is the only job available. There is a McDonald’s that required a bachelor’s degree for applicants, which they can do because workers are competing for the few jobs available.

Actually, President Trump DID raise the minimum wage. He did it with tax cuts, deregulation and good old fashioned CAPITALISM.
