Who let the boat get that close to the NC shore? I would say our government was pretty lax and were at fault for letting them get that close (yes, either political party!).

From what I've seen of recent politics the Righties would be jumping into WWII and the lefties of today would still be on the sideline even after Pearl Harbor.
