If you think your cops are bad, come to Chicago

This place is a never ending fountain of bad cops.

Both individuals were pronounced dead at hospitals within an hour of being shot, according to the Associated Press.


“He wasn’t just a thug on the street, he was an honor student in college and high school,” LeGrier’s mother, Janet Cooksey, told WBBM-TV. “Seven bullets were put in my son. Seven.”


“Eight shots were fired,” she added tearfully. “One hit an innocent lady who was just opening her door. Something is wrong with this picture.”

Moral of the story: Don't let your 55 year old mother of five open the door to see what is happening while the Chicago cops are emptying their pistols into the 19 year old college kid home for Christmas next door.

All police in Chicago should go on vacation for a week to see what happens.

Not saying what the cops did here was right, since it obviously wasn't, but to condemn all cops for the actions of a few is wrong.

Chicago has a population of 2.8M and 12,500 police officers. The math is in ratios, not single instances. While what the police officers did was wrong, especially in shooting an innocent woman, the fact remains it's a rare incident. To condemn all 12,500 officers for it or to tell 2.8 million people to worry about being shot by cops is pure fear-mongering.

I lived in Cook County for 10 years. All the cops are bad. You don't want to know what goes on daily in Chicago. But at least they are lazy as hell about showing up for court dates, so you can beat the ticket they just wrote you. But if they killed your kid, you are out of luck.

When MLK came to Chicago he found a different version of racism than existed in the south. He never solved this city. Did you know Capone was/still is considered a good guy in Cook County? Imagine how bad the cops have to be for Al Capone to be good by comparison.

There's a lake over in the forest preserves south east of where I live (I am now in DuPage County) that they drained to discover how many bodies Capone dumped in there. Legend had it he dumped a 1000 dead men in that lake. when they drained it, they only found 90-100. See what a nice guy he was?

Have you ever lived in Chicago max? Or are you talking out your ass again? I've lived here for the past 18 1/2 years. DuPage cops don't kill like Cook County cops kill. But the state troopers love to destroy your 4th amendment rights, then your 5th amendment rights. Come and drive on our fair roadways and watch how fast you can end up in prison without having done anything wrong, not even a traffic mistake. You don't need to be a criminal to be a criminal here.
