    Well, maybe we give Dems what they want and we decide not to pursue a wall after all. Instead, I have a better idea, use lethal force. Anyone caught trying to cross our borders illegally gets what is coming to them.

    Look, you can't just waltz over into North Korea. An example needs to be set. I guarantee you with 24/7 news coverage on CNN of what happens to people that try to enter the U.S. illegally that the message will get out. Word will spread fast, don't try to enter America on Trump's watch.

    Then after a year or two of that, the Dems will beg us to build the wall.

    I read somewhere that some eu countries limit or prohibit the amount if monies that can be transferred out to home countries...there creating a disincentive.

    I'll have to research it

    If you slap barriers or tax remittances then Immigrants just start crypto and bypassing the government.
    It doesn't take a technical wizard to buy and sell bitcoin.

    You can buy and sell bitcoin in dollars and pesos.
    It is like a commodity, you can buy and sell gold, or corn, or pork bellies or whatever in dollars and pesos as well. It is just a lot more practical to transport crypto overseas than a physical commodity.

    Yes, you buy it with dollars and sell it in pesos which are deposited in your Mexican bank account. And any government barrier/tax are avoided by remitting your crypto.

    One way or the other, Trump will stop the pillaging of America. I'm proud of my president for taking a stand to defend America. America first and America only and may the wall be built or a more lethal deterrent be used.

    I like the fact that someone is finally noticing how big the problem is on the southern border, and while I see a lot of utility in a wall (not least of which is the symbolism) I also remember Murphy's Laws of Combat;
    #37. "Make it too tough for the enemy to get in, and you won’t be able to get out."

    I've guarded a lot of shit in my lifetime and while things like walls, hesco barricades, berms, landmines, and concertina wire all work well, none of them work without guards aggressively patrolling up and down them. In fact, patrolling a lot works better than any of these things.
    Maybe we should take all those Border Patrol guys who are [Unwelcome language removed] off at all those immigration checkpoints 50 or 100 miles from the actual border (which are a waste of time as far as immigration goes, but does help the federal government do a lot of civil asset forfeiture) and put them back down on the border, patrolling.
