Sadly I believe you are right. If we do not turn things around soon the history will show the deterioration and loss of much that was good. Our kids will live in a much worse world than we did.You refer to a dying creed.

Every Reconstruction government was dominated by white "carpetbaggers" ... thus, not "Black Supremacy." The Radical Republicans supporting it were the most popular politicians in the North among the working class. And Reconstruction had broad support throughout the South, which is why a campaign of brutal terror against white and Black supporters was required to put an end to it.Only the ruling class supported Reconstruction's Black Supremacy. The majority of Northerners were shut out from having any say about that rape of the South, although they were still bitter about having their sons killed by secessionists.
I think most Blacks are much more progressive on race relations, and repulsed by outright bigotry (ie. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION DISCRIMINATION) than you hear about, but I don't think the fact this insight exists, absolves us of responsibility to tear down the institutional pillars of Black supremacy.I think most whites are much more progressive on race and repulsed by outright bigotry than in the Jim Crow days, but I don't think the fact that some progress has been made absolves us of responsibility to tear down the remaining institutional pillars of white supremacy.
Nothing wrong with that. He's 100% alt-right, hates Democrats.

Therefore, we need to ban the racist abomination of Affirmative Action nationwide (currently banned in only 8 states), and enact reparations$$$$$$$$$$$$ for Whites victimized/discriminated against for 55 years.
Nothing wrong with hating Democrats, but "alt-right" means racist and often fascist.Nothing wrong with that.
Your numbers don't fly. Maybe they are old. Here are the correct NEW numbers. 70% of Americans say merit should be only basis for college admissions. Nearly two-thirds (65 percent) of those surveyed by Gallup between June 29 and July 2, 2016, said they disagreed with the decision of the Supreme Court giving colleges the right to consider race & ethnicity in admissions. Even Blacks oppose Affirmative Action based in race - 50% to 44%.http://www.gallup.com/poll/184772/higher-support-gender-affirmative-action-race.aspx
77% of Blacks, 53% of whites, and 61% of Hispanics favor "affirmative action programs for racial minorities." I submit that a majority of white and Black Americans are not racist, and would not support these affirmative action programs if these programs weren't anti-racist in intent and in effect.
80% of Blacks, 74% of Hispanics, and 63% of whites favor "affirmative action programs for women." 72% of women and 62% of men favor these programs; 60% of women and 55% of men favor "affirmative action for racial minorities." I submit that these statistics reflect the fact that women are an oppressed majority, who are thus more likely to ally with another oppressed social layer, Blacks and other racial minorities. These racial minorities are in turn more likely to support women.
The familiar statistics about employment, education, environmental welfare, home ownership, health care, credit, crime, casualties of war, rape, sexual harassment, disability, jobs and justice show at a glance that talk of "Black supremacy" is a cruel racist joke.
Affirmative action is a life-or-death issue for the working class, which if divided by sexism and racism will never be able to win the inevitable strike battles with the bosses. Affirmative action is the right thing to do. Affirmative action has the support of a majority of Americans, white, Black, Hispanic, male, and female. Affirmative action has powerful defenders--the unions, the anti-racist organizations, and other allies on the left--who aren't going to give it up without a fight, and who will defend it by demanding strict quotas to make it enforceable and effective.
Affirmative action is more than 55 years old. It goes back to the first Freedmen's Bureau bill, passed by the Republican 39th Congress, the same Congress which outlawed slavery and passed the 14th Amendment which is the basis for most of the anti-segregation legislation, and signed by Abraham Lincoln, which provided for welfare aid that was only available to Blacks. If whites are owed reparations for 55 years of "Black supremacy"--during which entire time whites were on average better off than Blacks (and white men were usually better off than Black men, white women were better off than Black women, white lawyers were better off than Black lawyers, white farmers were better off than Black farmers, etc., etc.)--Blacks are surely owed reparations for nearly 400 years of white supremacy, including more than 2 centuries of literal slavery. And I don't think the Freedmen's Bureau services are adequate compensation.
Modern affirmative action, of course, was created by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the major civil rights law of the modern age. It is a response to the fact that Blacks today suffer an unfair burden (less accumulated family wealth, lack of access to informal social networks for career advancement, housing in inferior neighborhoods, bigotry at the hands of the therefore mostly white business and political elite) due to slavery, Jim Crow, and ongoing institutional discrimination.Your numbers don't fly. Blacks living today are owed NOTHING due to slavery or Jim Crow that they were not afflicted by. Whites living today ARE OWED REPARATIONS$ for Affirmative Action discrimination that they have suffered damages$$$ from. These reparations should not be paid by the govt. They should be paid by the very same people (Black or White) who pushed and supported Affirmative Action, out of their own personal pockets.
Affirmative Action is racial discrimination, clearly in violation of the US civil rights laws, which is the basis for the ban on it, in the 8 states where it is banned. It is clearly WRONG, and anyone who would defend it, is deranged.
Alt-left means support for Affirmative Action, and therefore racist. And it is by far the largest racism in America, afflicting by far the largest number of victims (whites) for 55 yearsNothing wrong with hating Democrats, but "alt-right" means racist and often fascist.
Edit: Nothing wrong with hating the Democratic Party and its leaders, anyway.
1 FALSE! AA began by Kennedy in 1961, and was alreqady in full bloom by the time the 1964 CR Act came around.Modern affirmative action, of course, was created by the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the major civil rights law of the modern age. The difference between the 2015 survey I cited and the 2016 one you cited is in the questions asked. In 2015, they asked the simple question whether people supported or opposed affirmative action, and a strong majority, including a majority of white males, were in favor. In 2016, they asked a convoluted question about whether people thought that decisions should be made based on merit even if it means few opportunities for minorities, to which many people answered yes in support for the current system of affirmative action (which though it allows but few opportunities to minorities, still makes for a more merit-based opportunity system than the unfettered white privilege we'd see in its absence), as opposed to your caricatured version where merit and everything else takes a back seat to racial considerations. And they asked whether people favored or opposed the Supreme Court decision--to which many people answered that they opposed it because its half-hearted upholding of affirmative action's legality in strictly defined circumstances (occasioned by the mass popular movement against Jim Crow and sexism and the new power relations created by it) didn't do enough to provide a vigorous legal bulwark for an aggressive affirmative action program.
Was it racist when Ike mandated it?Alt-left means support for Affirmative Action, and therefore racist. And it is by far the largest racism in America, afflicting by far the largest number of victims (whites) for 55 years
As I said, some opposed it because it OKd any affirmative action, while some opposed it because it OKd only limited affirmative action and didn't create a robust legal bulwark for affirmative action. Most Americans opposed the recent decision of the SCOTUS which OK'd AA, and that's where it stands
Saying that Blacks "enjoy the benefits of AA" is like saying that I'm discriminated against because the disabled have their own reserved parking spot. Or that soup kitchens discriminate against the rich because almost everyone who eats at them is poor.Quite the contrary, they ENJOY the benefits of AA

"It" ? Just a mandate for non-discrimination. No, of course that's wasn't racist. It also wasn't AA. AA is a mandate FOR discrimination (against Whites). You need to be honest. Dishonesty doesn't look good on you.Was it racist when Ike mandated it?

The link doesn't say that. Only you do.As I said, some opposed it because it OKd any affirmative action, while some opposed it because it OKd only limited affirmative action and didn't create a robust legal bulwark for affirmative action.
FALSE! The disabled NEED their reserved parking spot. And poor people need soup kitchens. But Blacks who are not poor, don't need anything. And rich Blacks continue to receive AA, at the expense of poor whites. Simply WRONG. And YOU KNOW it.Saying that Blacks "enjoy the benefits of AA" is like saying that I'm discriminated against because the disabled have their own reserved parking spot. Or that soup kitchens discriminate against the rich because almost everyone who eats at them is poor.
Affirmative action allows anyone who is talented to rise to the top instead of limiting the competition to white males.Ding Dongs of the Bell Curve
The ruling class, which a sucker like you imagine you oppose, hates, fears, and humiliates the talented. That is the source of the insult to intelligence called Affirmative Action and also of athletic "scholarships." Also note the hypocrisy in Jock Entitlement. Except for the mandatory silliness of competing for funds with women's sports, in men's teams there is no requirement forcing a team to take underrepresented minorities, such as Vietnamese-Americans on the football team.
In practice, non-discrimination means affirmative action, because without it discrimination will be rampant."It" ? Just a mandate for non-discrimination. No, of course that's wasn't racist. It also wasn't AA. AA is a mandate FOR discrimination (against Whites). You need to be honest. Dishonesty doesn't look good on you.
It's the only possible inference given that when people are asked simply whether they support or oppose affirmative action, a clear majority supports it.The link doesn't say that. Only you do.
