Incorrect. It's true that gun ownership rates are a bit higher in red states than blue ones. But the gap isn't as big as you might expect, at least among the big states. For example, 35.7% of Texas residents own guns versus 26.2% in Illinois and 34.3% in Colorado. The gap nowhere near enough to make it so 95% of guns are owned in red states.

If history is any guide, it wouldn't come down to the percent that own guns at the start of a civil war, but rather to industrial capacity. During the actual Civil War, there was more of a gun-owning culture in the Confederacy than in the Union states, since the confederacy was much more rural. That's part of what led many in the South to wrongly assume they could whip the Yankees quickly. But when you've got money and manufacturing capability, you can churn out guns very quickly. The blue states are richer than the red ones and could quickly scale up operations in factories like Remington's (New York), Sturm Ruger (New Hampshire), Mossberg (Connecticut), Colt (Connecticut), S&W (Massachusetts), Springfield (Illinois), etc., to make or import as many guns as needed.

That's picturing it as a small-arms civil war. If it were a full-scale one, who the hell knows. It would depend on how the military brass split.

What you have to realize is that this is NOT some spontaneous disagreement with the landslide Trump victory. This is a CRIME taking place.

If I paid a couple of kids $20 to go to your car and smash all the windows out, I'd be guilty of destruction of property. If I paid those kids $100 to find you and beat the crap out of you or kill you, I'd be guilty of either aggravated battery or murder.

Those riots are nothing more than a CRIME committed by the last NAZI on the planet: George Soros. He needs to be arrested and brought to justice. He is committing thousands of counts of terrorism, vandalism, destruction of property, aggravated battery and murder.

There is NOTHING spontaneous about a bunch of animals who have been paid to tear the country up.

Maybe the National Guard should be given orders to use deadly force on any rioters who will not immediately stand down.
