Israel vs. Palestine: A Review of Palestine Rejecting Their Own Statehood

Mr. Friscus

Governor
So the charges from Palestine against Israel are still championed by the leftist media. I recall a 2011 New York Times article, written by Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian national authority, which was entitled "The Long Overdue Palestinian State". In the article, Abbas called for the UN to "formally recognize a Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders", regardless of the negotiations with the state of Israel. This coincided with a Barack Obama speech at the time, who also declared that Israel must return to pre-1967 borders, modified only by mutually agreed land swaps.

The Problem for Mr. Abbas and Barack Obama in saying these things (along with so many leftists in today's society) is that the proposal of a UN designated Palestinian state was rejected, yes rejected, by Palestinian leaders and Arab states again, and again, and again.

Let's look at Palestine just after WWI, after the dismantling of the Ottoman Empire, in which the "Mandate for Palestine" gave them this:

Wow, lot's of room! Plenty of room for a Jewish AND Palestinian state. And what would eventually be the modern Israel, in all of this, was vastly underdeveloped and underpopulated. This wasn't prime Palestinian real estate.

So, let's review all the times Palestine rejected their own state, acted immorally, and displayed an obsessive hatred of one group.

PALESTINE GIVEN OPPORTUNITY FOR THEIR STATEHOOD:
The 1917 Balfour Declaration by the British
  • supported the establishment of this large, gigantic Palestinian state in the map above.
  • mentioned the desire of a national home for the Jewish People, who were spread amongst the nation.
  • stated that NOTHING shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine.
  • supported open Jewish immigration, as well as Freedom of speech, religion, and assembly for the Palestinians here. (rights they had absolutely lacked under Turkish rule. Palestinians were never recognized by the Ottoman Empire as possessing any national identity whatsoever.)
PALESTINE RESPONDS: REJECTS THEIR OWN STATE FOR THE FIRST TIME
So, what do the Palestinians do with this huge new mass of land and these new freedoms they were given? They reveal a deep hatred for the Jews, despite being now blessed with freedoms.
  • They Demanded a complete stop to Jewish Immigration.
  • At a Paris Peace Conference, Palestinians claimed "We will push the Zionists into the Sea, or they will push us back into the desert".
  • Aref Dajani is quoted at the time saying
    • “It is impossible for us to make an understanding with them [Jews] or even to live them together… Their history and all their past proves that it is impossible to live with them. In all the countries where they are at present they are not wanted and undesirables, because they always arrive to suck the blood of everybody, and to become economically and financially victorious. If the League of Nations will not listen to the appeal of the Arabs this country will become a river of blood.”
Thus, the Palestinians rejected the idea of their own independent state if Israel was allowed to have one as well.

BRITAIN STANDS AGAINST PALESTINIAN HATRED
Despite the threat of violence, the Palestinian demand to end Jewish immigration was not granted.

PALESTINIANS DECLARE JIHAD
Thus, the Palestinians acted, and began violently attacking Jerusalem in April of 1920, and poured into the city, declaring a Jihad. Palestinian Newspapers justified the 1920 attack: "If we don't use force we will never be rid of them!" Chants of "We will drink the blood of the Jews" were common among the mobs, as well as "Mohammad's religion was born with the sword" (Which is entirely true).

The angry mob of Palestinians killed 6 Jews, beat down hundreds of Jews and Brits, and caused widespread destruction by destroying buildings, stores, etc. (Ferguson anyone?). This is now known as the "Nebi Musa Riot", and began a 90 year war by Palestinians to reverse the Balfour declaration of 1917, one which established a gigantic Palestinian state but dared to desire a small national homeland for Israelis.

THE WORLD DEALS WITH THE SAVAGE PALESTINIANS - LAND SPLIT
To deal with this violent Arab Monarchs, the Allies separated the land, creating Palestine to the west and the "Emirate of Transjordan" to the east, creating far less land for the Jewish people, smashing them closer together, and ramping up the temperature. For decades after, the Muslim state continued an endless Jihad against Jews.

JEWS PROPOSE A 2 STATE SOLUTION: PALESTINIAN REJECTION #2

When the British sent a royal commission to investigate a solution, it was the Israeli leader who suggested portioning the land into two states, and suggest so even if the territory assigned to the Jews was the "size of a tablecloth".

The 1937 Peel Commission Final Report: The suggestion of 20% of the then-Palestinian land to become a national homeland state for the Jews, and the Palestinian Arabs would get 80%. The Jews accepted the Peel Commission, the Palestinians rejected it.

The aggressive violence against the Jews continued, but was finally tempered for a time by the British. Palestinian leaders were exiled, and some went to Nazi Germany and became allies with Hitler. They certainly had something in common, a deep-seeded hatred of the Jewish people.

UNITED NATIONS/ISRAEL OFFERS ANOTHER 2 STATE SOLUTION: PALESTINIAN REJECTION #3
Once WW2 began, Britain relinquished authority of the mandate to the UN, who formed another commission to figure out what to do here. The United Nations Special Committee on Palestine recommended ANOTHER 2 state solution. This would have largely split the land 50/50. The Jews again accepted this co-existence, the Palestinians again rejected it, reminding that ANY partition would be met with rivers of blood.

PALESTINE TRIES TO EXTERMINATE THE JEWS
Shortly after this, the 20 member Arab League sent their "Arab Liberation Army" against the Jews of Palestine. Arab Armies from Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon invaded Israel on May 15th, 1948. Arab league secretary general Abdul Raman Assad vowed "This will be a war of Extermination and a Momentous Massacre". However, the Israelis successfully defeated the blood-thirsty Palestinians, and expanded their territory by 40%. The Palestinian Arabs started the fight, and were the big losers.

Palestine rejected 2 partition plans that would have given them independence, but instead risked it all on a Jihad against the Jews, and ended up with nothing. 650,000 Palestinians became refugees.

ARAB COUNTRIES TAKE ISRAELI LAND, DON'T ESTABLISH PALESTINIAN STATE
Now let's talk the West Bank and Gaza. Following 1948, Arab Jordan annexed Gaza, and Arab Egypt took over the west bank. Palestinians were denied civil rights and treated terribly by these invaders, and Israeli Prime Ministers clearly offered superior, increasingly moral options. It never occurred to these Arab invaders to worry about a Palestinian state.. which is odd, is it not?

CAMP DAVID 2000: PALESTINIAN REJECTION #4
How about Camp David in 2000? It would have established a West Bank/Gaza Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as their Capital. As is the usual Palestinian way, Yassar Arafat walked away from negotiations and launched missiles at Israel in a 3 year brutal campaign of suicide bombings against public Jewish establishments.

2005: PALESTINIAN REJECTION #5
Israel deemed it is against their own security interest to govern the 1.1 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, so they basically got up and left. They even left a few in tact industries for the Palestinians so they could begin with some momentum. What did the Palestinians do? Burn down the factories and then launched missiles and rockets against civilian targets in Israel.

2008 ISRAEL PROPOSES ANOTHER 2 STATE SOLUTION: PALESTINIAN REJECTION #6
Israel proposes a future 2 state solution establishing a Palestinian state that would get 100% of the territory of the west bank and Gaza prior to war in 1967, along with again offering to divide Jerusalem and give Palestine East Jerusalem for their capital. The Palestinian leaders took the map, left, and never returned. This is the last time Israeli and Palestinian leaders met, and it's no wonder.

Time after Time, the international community and Israel have offered Palestine their own state. And every time, such offers are met with violence. And, it's odd to see men like Abbas and Obama ignorant to history, probably never bothering to dig below the anti-semetic talking points, predictably.

Palestine deserves to be ignored, until they can act like mature, humane adults.

It does seem odd that Palestinians want more respect, yet decline legal mantle that accords it.
They leave themselves a Stateless, and by official policy, hostile minority.

Unfortunately for them, the Palestinian movement is replete with hardliners and extremists who will accept nothing less than the total destruction of the nation of Israel. This has worked as a detriment to their own people and to the prospects for peace in that part of the world.

It obviously is in their own best interest to seek a peaceful compromise. Let's pray that cooler heads prevail at some point.

Have you noticed ANYTHING done by Zionists in Palestine since 1917 which has been prejudicial to the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine?

"There is much debate among historians and activists about the precise attitude of pre-state Israel’s leadership toward the Palestinian minority. Leading up the 1948 War, how far was David Ben Gurion prepared to go?

"Was he an active proponent of the ethnic cleansing campaign that eventually drove nearly 1-million Palestinians from their ancestral homes?

"Or was Nakba a combination of the exigencies of war along with an unstated policy adopted by some of its military commanders.

"These questions are difficult to answer for two reasons: one, Ben Gurion must’ve realized if Israel was planning to expel such a large proportion of its non-Jewish population, it could not do so publicly.

"For this reason, aside from documents vaguely alluding to the subject, there is no official smoking gun. I don’t know how aware he was of the approach the Nazis took to their own genocide: aside from the Wansee Conference, there is almost no documentary record of the Holocaust in the archives of the perpetrators.

"Similarly, Ben Gurion made sure there would be almost no official record to document Nakba."

Utter evil and wicked BS - Most of the Palestinian resistance is peaceful and has been going on forever - why is it not on the main media? Why? Tell me why the Friday protests in the West Bank are never ever reported? Come on I want an answer ----------

Hamas is funded by Israel ffs! - Recently Israel say 'they think' rockets were fired from within Gaza - 'they think' - but they cannot find them............ will you shake your head and say 'it's their own fault' as the 1 ton bombs rain down on the people of Gaza who have no where to run for they are crammed into a concentration camp with concrete walls - battle ships straf them from the seas -

No true Christian would ever, in a million years, blame Palestinians - never.

There is no compromise - Arafat bent over backwards to fnd peace for his people - Israel does not want peace it wants to kill all Palestinians - and it does it in front of our eyes - those of us who do not rage against Israel are complicit in their sadistic genocide - I can't mean that more sincerely - wake up America.

The true Palestinians resistance that your media and politicos will never tell you about -

True to form, not one single assertion refuted.
Do you intend to keep your perfect record of zero?

Meanwhile, your disinformation about my position may mislead some that don't know my ACTUAL position.
So I will say:
Israel has deliberately made life difficult for Palestinians for generations.
Israel has the resources to help those living in Palestinian areas to elevated living standards. I'm sympathetic with the artificial adversities imposed on peaceful Palestinians, and remain a fan of constructive negotiators like Hanan Ashrawi.
What a pity Israel has no comparable counterpart with whom Ashrawi could make progress.

Palestine is disappearing before our eyes, subsumed into the global "war on terror." I suspect Likud's next step in the peace process will be the annexation of Area C:

http://www.btselem.org/planning_and_building

"Israel’s planning and building policy in the West Bank is aimed at preventing Palestinian development and dispossessing Palestinians of their land.

"This is masked by use of the same professional and legal terms applied to development in settlements and in Israel proper, such as 'planning and building laws', 'urban building plans (UBPs)”, 'planning proceedings” and 'illegal construction'.

"However, while the planning and building laws benefit Jewish communities by regulating development and balancing different needs, they serve the exact opposite purpose when applied to Palestinian communities in the West Bank.

"There, Israel exploits the law to prevent development, thwart planning and carry out demolitions. This is part of a broader political agenda to maximize the use of West Bank resources for Israeli needs, while minimizing the land reserves available to Palestinians."

12 hrs of water per week - 90% of it unfit to drink.

If it were anywhere else in the World Americans would be in an uproar - but they, Israeli Zionists, have woven God into their narrative - which is bs but it has worked - as we see - God's people may commit the most horrific slaughter and untold misery on innocents with impunity.

Have you watched 5 Broken Cameras yet?

I haven't re-watched it yet.
I have seen it once, but, with recent events in Palestine, it is definitely worth watching again.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5_Broken_Cameras#Synopsis

"There are five cameras — each with its own story.

"When his fourth son, Gibreel, is born in 2005, self-taught cameraman Emad Burnat, a Palestinian villager, gets his first camera.

"At the same time in his village of Bil’in, the Israelis begin bulldozing village olive groves to build a barrier to separate Bil'in from the Jewish Settlement Modi'in Illit.

"The barrier's route cuts off 60% of Bil'in farmland and the villagers resist this seizure of more of their land by the settlers.

"During the next year, Burnat films this struggle, which is led by two of his best friends including his brother Iyad, while at the same time recording the growth of his son.

"Very soon, these events begin to affect his family and his own life.

"Emad films the Army and Police beating and arresting villagers and activists who come to support them. Settlers destroy Palestinian olive trees and attack Burnat when he tries to film them.

"The Army raids the village in the middle of the night to arrest children.

"He, his friends, and brothers are arrested or shot; some are killed.

"Each camera used to document these events is shot or smashed.

"Eventually, in 2009, Burnat approaches Guy Davidi[5] – an Israeli filmmaker and together, from these five broken cameras and the stories that they represent, these two filmmakers create the film."

How willfully and murderously ignorant can you get? All of you who are complicit in genocide.
So you're attempting to say that Palestine didn't rejected Jewish Immigration in 1917 and spoke of their hatred of Jews and their desire for rivers of blood?

You're pretending the Palestinians didn't attack the city unprovoked in 1920?

You're trying to pretend that Israel didn't offer multiple 2 state solutions, to which Palestine responded with violence?

You're denying that the Arab Liberation Army attacked Israel in the name of Palestine for the sole purpose of the extermination of Jews in 1948?

...

By all means, the floor is yours. How did those things NOT happen?

Why was Palestine not appreciative of civil rights being that they were just under horrible Turkish rule? Why wouldn't Palestine accept an 80-20 split? or later a 50/50 split? Why do they seem to hate Jews so much that they cannot even exist knowing there is a Jewish state?

Palestinians to this day do not say that they hate Jews --- where do you get this bs from?

Zionist terrorists slaughtered all of thepeoples in whole villages and you are trying to tell us that those dead men women and children killed the living and breathing Zionists? Are you nuts? Yup ------------ yup you are.

Palestine never had an army - it never had and does not to this day have an organized military anything - wtf is your brain? How can anyone make war without a military force ---- no, it was a violent massacre and expulsion of Palestinians by the Zionists. As now agreed by Israels leading historians.

They did not happen --- try following the Israeli historians and try to stop being 100-50 years behind the times.

It is their country - who would agree 1st to a map drawn by a drunk and 2ndly to becoming a occupied land ?- Their land is occupied by a most brutal force but they did not, as noone would, agree to it --------- that is all that the proposals demanded - the surrender of Palestine to Easts European claiming to be Jews - The Ottomans were plunderers, that is true, but they left people alone to rule their countries - to keep their cultures alive. They did not impose a brutal foreign military force on a peaceful and ancient land.

If you are really after the truth you will watch this

If you do not watch it then you are a coward --- and I do not use this word often nor lightly but a racist coward to boot.

And, if you have taken courage into your hands, check out these Israeli historians -one by one - to start with

Let's start here. I want to directly address these issues. There's no need to go off on 8 point tangents, tossing tons of claims at me when we have to establish things first. So, let's stay focused.

Where have Palestinians say they hate the Jews? This goes back to the very beginning of the Palestinian state, and Palestine's desire to reject statehood as long as Jews are allowed to have one of their own. We can often determine what a movement is all about based on the creeds and morals it is built on. So, let's talk the beginnings. Just after WWI. Stay on this topic, if you can.

I'll start with what I already cited, and you avoided:

Aref-al Dagani:
  • The mayor of Jerusalem
  • In 1918, became the regional president of the Muslim-Christian Association (MCA)
  • Also the head of The Jerusalem Congress, which represented Palestinian interests in the The Paris Peace Conference of 1919
This guy, representing the overwhelming overarching Palestinian will, advocated to renounce the Balfour Declaration, which WOULD HAVE GIVEN PALESTINE ITS STATEHOOD.

He is quoted:
“It is impossible for us to make an understanding with them [Jews] or even to live them together… Their history and all their past proves that it is impossible to live with them. In all the countries where they are at present they are not wanted and undesirables, because they always arrive to suck the blood of everybody, and to become economically and financially victorious. If the League of Nations will not listen to the appeal of the Arabs this country will become a river of blood.”

So there you have it. A promise and desire for rivers of Jewish blood. That's on the record. You can't deny it.

As for the Balfour declaration, again, that WOULD HAVE GIVEN PALESTINE ITS STATEHOOD (and gave previously unheld civil rights to Palestinians), The ONLY REASON Palestine rejected it is because the Jews would get a small plot of land of their own. There is simply no reason to hate a group of people so much as to deny yourself everything you supposedly want simply because "they" (The Jews) get to finally exist.

Meanwhile, at the very same Paris Peace Conference: representatives of the Jaffa Muslim-Christian council said:

"We will push the Zionists into the sea or they will push us into the desert"

This is what unbiased outsiders observe. Language of extermination, war, and violence from the Palestinians, from the very beginning.

The Palestinians de-humanized an entire group of people, and they picked the fight. And now, that they got their ass handed to them by the Israelis multiple times, they play the victim.

It's no wonder when the victim in a bully situation fights back. Israel was bullied, they fought back. Now, as the bully, Palestine can't cry foul. They are filled with horrific rhetoric throughout their existence, which can also be cited. But most important, it is what the entire movement was based upon, an unwillingness to coexist with the Jewish people, and thus, an extermination of the Jewish people.

So, care to deny any of this?
