Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris described electability as the “elephant in the room” of her campaign and pondered whether America is ready for a woman of color to be commander in chief.
“Essentially, is America ready for a woman and a woman of color to be president of the United States?” Harris said in an
interview with Axios on HBO. “There is a lack of ability or a difficulty in imagining that someone whom we have never seen can do a job that has been done 45 times by someone who is not that person.”
The same conversation happened when Barack Obama ran for president, the California senator added, when he was the first black candidate to have a real chance of being the democratic candidate and then the presidential candidate.
does that really sound like blaming sexism and racism as much as wondering if being the first woman or the first black or in her case the first black woman with any chance in any race for the president is not harder than for the usual white male candidate? can you imagine a black female con man liar like trump somehow winning?
why can't trump voters read instead of putting dumbass spin on their words like their media masters do when they bend them over and tell them what to think, if think is the right word?
