I know because I have asked -And you know "they" meant foreigners because you read minds?
No internet out of Libya? Sheesh...again, since you don't really know how the internet works...access would depend on where you were. Access would depend on whether they
had telephone systems at all and in a lot of places they did. Your assumptions are laughable. The video was some guy with a cell phone or mini-video cam.
"The word out of Libya"? The word from whom? What is the source of that "information"?
Your usual excuse...I posted it already. Gaddafi shut down internet access using a software program call EAGLE. That was in early 2011.I know because I have asked -
The internet was blocked -
I posted sources at the time -
And how many of your pro-Gaddafi pals were in Libya during the civil war?Not very much ------------- but I know plenty who do. How many Libyans who lived under Gaddafi do you know?
You know because you asked "THEM" what "THEY" meant when they said "THEY"...I know because I have asked -

You left out one fact which happen in 2011 as if you think it was forgottenWow...it takes a lot of patience to deal with a person like you...your attention span runs into the milliseconds.
Here are the facts:
1. Libyan civilians demonstrated against Qaddafi.
2. Qaddafi ordered his military to open fire on the demonstrators.
3. Libyan politicians condemned him and set up an interim government
4. Libyan military units defected...now it was an all out civil war.
5. The UN voted to authorize air strikes on March 17th...
6. 19 march.. France, Britain and Italy begin bombing Libyan army units.
7. The US military begins strikes the next day. Obama informs the Senate.
8. 24th of March, Nato assumes command.
The initial coalition of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, Norway, Qatar, Spain, UK and US expanded to nineteen states, with newer states mostly enforcing the no-fly zone and naval blockade or providing military logistical assistance. The effort was initially largely led by France and the United Kingdom, with command shared with the United States. NATO took control of the arms embargo on 23 March, named Operation Unified Protector. An attempt to unify the military command of the air campaign (whilst keeping political and strategic control with a small group), first failed over objections by the French, German, and Turkish governments. On 24 March, NATO agreed to take control of the no-fly zone, while command of targeting ground units remains with coalition forces. The handover occurred on 31 March 2011 at 06:00 UTC (08:00 local time). NATO flew 26,500 sorties since it took charge of the Libya mission on 31 March 2011.
What exactly is your point.
You originally said Obama started the war. Post #104You left out one fact which happen in 2011 as if you think it was forgotten
Between Qaddafi ordered his military to open fire on the demonstrators. and The UN voted to authorize air strikes on March 17th... you left out obama using U.S. air power to support the rebels under the war powers act until NATO took over. there is your fact you ignored
He did start the U.S hostilities against Libya. You originally said Obama started the war. Post #104
You're lying if you say obama didn't start the hostilities with Libya.
The war started in early February when the Libyan military opened fire on demonstrators.
Now you are saying Qaddafi did order his troops to open fire (starting the war) and then you state (falsely) that Obama started airstrikes before the UN voted on March 17th...
So you have already admitted you were wrong in Post #104..Obama didn't start the hostilities...but you are saying he began bombing Libyan forces before the UN vote.
What is your source of information?
There is no proof that any one fired on demonstrators - and there was little to no army presence there - it was Police and demonstrators --------------- this is what I am saying, there was very very limited internet access in Libya then and no access to up load onto youtube. You left out one fact which happen in 2011 as if you think it was forgotten
Between Qaddafi ordered his military to open fire on the demonstrators. and The UN voted to authorize air strikes on March 17th... you left out obama using U.S. air power to support the rebels under the war powers act until NATO took over. there is your fact you ignored
Human Rights Watch is Soros owned and run -------- it is a con.And how many of your pro-Gaddafi pals were in Libya during the civil war?
A week of protests have placed unprecedented pressure on Gaddafi's regime, and he's responded with far more violence than any of the other embattled Mideast autocracies. Human Rights Watch has tallied at least 233 protester deaths from regime security forces so far; Al Jazeera is reporting that another 250 have been killed on Monday alone. Despite a media blackout, reports are emerging on Al Jazeera and elsewhere that fighter jets and helicopters are attacking demonstrators in Tripoli and Benghazi.
On Monday, two Libyan Air Force colonels defected to Malta, saying that they would not obey orders to bomb protesters. The Libyan government is denying any reports of the airstrikes. But an anonymous witness in Tripoli told the New York Times that the jets, helicopters and militamen below caused an "obscene amount of gunfire" in the Libyan capitol. "They were strafing these people. People were running in every direction."

The internet was blocked at the time of your so called demonstrations ---------- so where was that footage really coming from? Some film set somewhere in the USofA or Turkey?Your usual excuse...I posted it already. Gaddafi shut down internet access using a software program call EAGLE. That was in early 2011.

The internet wasn't blocked by the time Gaddafi was killed in October.
He fire bombed it - destroyed it and all possibility of stability in the EU, ME and Africa - Obama was a monster. He did start the U.S hostilities against Libya.
What would Soros have to gain by telling HRW to lie about the fighting in Libya?Human Rights Watch is Soros owned and run -------- it is a con.
Bull shit.
In defence - of his people and of his country. Don't all of us wish that we could protect children and others from the barrage of bs on line? From porn to politics - from religious nutters to 'guilt merchants' - look how it has corrupted our young - wouldn't anyone who cared try to protect those they loved from the mind bending and miserable on line onslaught if they could? Children have to grow up at 4 - women have to look so and so and so - men have to behave so and so and so - thought police everywhere on line so that the young do not have any grounding and dare not be themselves - etc etc etc -What would Soros have to gain by telling HRW to lie about the fighting in Libya?
There are a lot of sources that told of the violence in Libya before Nato got involved. Why did Gadaffi shut down the internet if not to hide what he was doing?
Well? Now that you have freed the people of Libya, where is their internet now? What would Soros have to gain by telling HRW to lie about the fighting in Libya?
There are a lot of sources that told of the violence in Libya before Nato got involved. Why did Gadaffi shut down the internet if not to hide what he was doing?
Gimme a break. He didn't shut down the internet for the sake of morality. He did it as a measure of control over his population. In defence - of his people and of his country. From porn to politics - from religious nutters to 'guilt merchants' - look how it has corrupted our young - wouldn't anyone who cared try to protect those they loved from the mind bending and miserable on line onslaught if they could? Gaddafi took the poorest African country and turned it into the richest in just 40 years - a wealth which all of the people shared - there was 'no usury' - no bills, electricity was free - irrigation and running water with the Great Man Made River ( the first thing the US bombed in high summer!) - free education ( even abroad), free health care - decent housing as a Human Right - and so on - He was their Spiritual Leader - and he did it without blood shed - there was no bloody coup or revolution and most who were in jail were Al Qaeda and co ------------ He attacked no neighbours - he was trying to unite both Arab and African countries - which was his downfall ------------ Now Rothschilds own his Banks - the French own his water and stole his Gold - Oil is no longer used for the betterment of Libya but against the people who all live in mortal terror every second of their lives - who are sold into slavery and are ruled by Islamists - and they no longer enjoy education or healthcare - all you gave them was violence and more violence and even more violence - and an uncontrolled mass influx of people from Africa -
And where is the internet now?
You just sort of meander around looking for something else to throw out. I have no idea what the current state of their internet providers are. The video I saw of Gaddafi's death was on ABC news. They have their own access to their network, probably through sat phones when they are someplace without reliable phone service.Well? Now that you have freed the people of Libya, where is their internet now?
No middleview ----- It was you pointing the finger and excusing the destruction of a stable and wealthy country by bomb - In part, because 'he' had denied his citizenry the western controlled internet, you said - so Obama charged in on his white charger and I ask you ----- Where is the internet connection for these freed citizens of Libya now?You just sort of meander around looking for something else to throw out. Kinda nutty of you to say that I'd said we bombed Libya because he had shut down their internet. No middleview ----- It was you pointing the finger and excusing the destruction of a stable and wealthy country by bomb - In part, because 'he' had denied his citizenry the western controlled internet, you said - so Obama charged in on his white charger and I ask you ----- Where is the internet connection for these freed citizens of Libya now?
You have no idea, you say! So what was the US attack on Libya all about then? And now that IS rules over Libya was it worth it? Did Obama do the Libyans a good deed?
Please tell us what good Obama did in his actions against the sovereign state of Libya.
I said 'In Part' - your reading comprehension is not lacking you are just avoiding having to answer questions you either have no answer for or do not like.Kinda nutty of you to say that I'd said we bombed Libya because he had shut down their internet.
Seems like their internet is working just fine.
