Many Many Knees Taken in London...

Mr. Friscus

Governor
Trump reignited the issue...and it didn't start out too well for him. It's a mystery as to why the baby man decided to go off on the NFL at a campaign rally, but, he did.

Many NFL players, from both teams, took a knee...and all the others linked arm in arm as the Star Spangled Banner wafted through Wembley. They won't be fired.
They shouldn't be fired.

But they should be shown all the sacrifices American people made against most of the greatest evil in this world, in the name of the flag.

Basically, they're a bunch of drunk [Unwelcome language removed] at the bar, and someone needs to come get in their face a bit, shake them out of their group ejaculation, and make them realize they, along with most of Americans, have it better than anywhere else in the world.

America is more good than bad. I think that's a very safe thing to say.

America does have more good than bad but that doesn't mean people shouldn't try to make it better.

How conditions in the rest of the world are irrelevant to this discussion. The discussion is about America and what needs to be fixed.

Oh I think it's absolutely relevant.

The poorest person in a gated community can whine about how they have it so bad, and how the system is so unfair.

But, they live in a gated community. They have a nice house, nice cars, a pool, etc.

To ignore true poverty, true oppression, true inhumane behavior is to willingly become blind to the concepts.

Americans need to know how other people live. It's a very healthy exercise. It makes one feel grateful, and appreciation, things the left advocate to never feel.

Nobody can take on all of the ills of the world. Their position and publicity allows them to give voice to a problem in this country. So, they use it.

The discussion is about their use of that fame and it's impact and meaning on those in this country. You brought in the rest of the world.

Of course I brought in the rest of the world, because the rhetoric used by protestors makes it out to be how horrible it is to live in the USA if you're black or a minority.. and that's not the case, so say the numbers.

If you're a minority, there is no better place you can live today than in the USA. Across the board, it's your best bet.

If you seal off enough of the world, anyone can convince themselves they have it bad. It's the victimhood mentality, which the left promotes, as you know.

Proof enough to me that Lefty wants to take down the nation.
The National Anthem represents the United States of America.........it's not "Trump's Song" so to refuse to stand, hand over heart, for it is a slap at the USA.

Lefty wants to take the nation down.
They prove it every day.
It's not about Trump and it's not about the anthem. It's about police brutality (and, now, free speech).

It's up to the consumer now. I won't watch this week. Screw the NFL and its millionaire ingrates.
Yeah they are already hurting bad in the ticket sales and worse in the TV viewership....but hey it's a first amendment thing and they do have their right to make it known....others have a right to react. It's a very smart move for Trump...it takes attention away from other issues that he is having trouble delivering on and crates a rallying point for the base. This guy is light years ahead of them....he actually needs the Craigs and the Bugsys to keep up their wall of hate and spit....it is a fueling station for Trump's base. Trump uses them without their knowledge because they are so predictable in their positions and their responses.

I don't drink Budweiser.

Incorrect. If the opinion reeks of fascistic tendencies, then the opinion reeks of fascistic tendencies.

The President...the bully pulpit...you know.
More or less like being fined for not buying health insurance....eh?

And what was Curry's reason?
http://www.eonline.com/ca/news/882375/donald-trump-says-warriors-invitation-to-white-house-has-been-withdrawn-after-stephen-curry-comments

"Back in June, the Golden State Warriors won the 2017 NBA Championship.

"Typically, the winning team is then invited to the White House to meet with the president.

"But the team's star basketball player Curry made it clear on Friday that he would vote against his team going to Washington, D.C.

"While at Warriors Media Day, Curry spoke about what turning down the offer, which was never officially made, would mean. 'That we don't stand for basically what our president has — the things that he's said and the things that he hasn't said at the right times — that we won't stand for it,' Curry said, according to a tweet from The Athletic's Anthony Slater."

And they won't be watched either, at least not in as great a number as in the past.
The baby man in this movie is the black millionaire who disrespects the country that gave him the opportunity to become rich and famous. If the bastards are so concerned, about their brothers and sisters in the ghetto, why don't they either, help organizations that work to expand privately owned businesses in minority areas, or start that type organization themselves. This would be better than making fools of themselves in a useless charade.
