Ummm.... MaryAnne? Don't you realize you just supported my assertion that he's a leftist?

Thanks for doing the leg work for me. I simply didn't care enough about the guy to do much looking. It was very gracious of you to invetigate and find the facts that support my original assertion.

    Good job!!!!

McKINNON: Usually Republicans are forthright in defending the Constitution. And here we are, reinforcing al Qaeda’s message that we’re at war with Muslims. So we’ve got this issue; then we’ve got the 14th Amendment issue, where Republicans are saying you’re not welcome here, when we were the architects of the 14th Amendment. So, I see a bad pattern where we’re headed as a Republican Party.

McKinnon said he believed President Obama has “done the right thing in stepping forward at this time on this issue.” He added, “Tolerance means tolerating things you don’t like, especially when you don’t like them. … I respect the President for making this move.”

Yeah right, Stan. You said you looked for him, a simple google brought up all kinds of pictures with Mark and Bush when he was an advisor.

I am in complete agreement with both Huntsman and Mark that we need a drastic change in WDC. Term limits to clean out the deadwood posing as Congress, etc.

You may not, that is fine with me.

    Apparently DUBYA was a "leftist"...

"Here in the United States our Muslim citizens are making many contributions in business, science and law, medicine and education, and in other fields. Muslim members of our Armed Forces and of my administration are serving their fellow Americans with distinction, upholding our nation's ideals of liberty and justice in a world at peace."

"Over the past month, Muslims have fasted, taking no food or water during daylight hours, in order to refocus their minds on faith and redirect their hearts to charity. Muslims worldwide have stretched out a hand of mercy to those in need. Charity tables at which the poor can break their fast line the streets of cities and towns. And gifts of food and clothing and money are distributed to ensure that all share in God's abundance. Muslims often invite members of other families to their evening iftar meals, demonstrating a spirit of tolerance."

"America treasures the relationship we have with our many Muslim friends, and we respect the vibrant faith of Islam which inspires countless individuals to lead lives of honesty, integrity, and morality. This year, may Eid also be a time in which we recognize the values of progress, pluralism, and acceptance that bind us together as a Nation and a global community. By working together to advance mutual understanding, we point the way to a brighter future for all."

"Islam brings hope and comfort to millions of people in my country, and to more than a billion people worldwide."

    -----Pres. George W. Bush

Actually, I read about him at Wikipedia, where they didn't leave out him being a Democrat. Nice try, though.

George W. Bush was a big government liberal. Do you dispute that?

Honestly guys,I think this hate and trying to go back to the past is changing the political scene much faster than any of us suspected.

Every where I turn I am seeing more. When Mekkler and McGraw teamed up saying."They want us fighting with each other." told me which way the wind is now blowing. And many Republicans are leading the way!

The top post was about Mckinnon and how things are changing by good Republicans. As you often say,"Bush is gone."

Yep, sometimes he's a Democrat. Sometimes he's a Republican. Right now, ThinkProgress is hailing him as a star for bashing Republicans.

No labels my ass. He's a leftist and opportunist.

Nothing to see here, folks- just MaryAnne getting slapped around again.

    Move along, people.

Stan, how many times did you vote FOR that "big government liberal"?

ROFLMAO....My quote by the way, proves McKinnon is the one who is mainstream and right about the Islamophobic Fringe in the GOP.....even their OWN PRESIDENT from 2001-2009 is now a "Muslim-loving leftist".

BTW, do guys like Stan, REALLY think that Mitt Romney if President, will be MORE intolerant of a religious minority like they hope.....a guy who's IN a religious minority???

And I would not be surprised if Mark did not help write that speech for Bush.

Dubya wanted his wars in the Middle East....but he wasn't so stupid or evil that he subscribed to the vicious bigotry within his own Party against Muslims.

Neither would a "President Romney"...a member of a religious minority that was in our past history persecuted.

The Islamophobes have no "hero" in the White House in 2013....regardless of who wins.
