And how is financial illiteracy any different than Baby Boomers?
I’m a baby boomer and I retire this Friday at 59....And how is financial illiteracy any different than Baby Boomers?
Well, no kids will definitely help on the route to being a millionaire.
You are definitely a young boomer. You are actually closer to a Gen Xer - we are way better than the boomers.I’m a baby boomer and I retire this Friday at 59....
But only because I planned it and made the sacrifices I needed to make.....
So why can’t you?

This does always amaze me. People look at others who meticously plan, save and organize their life towards a goal as if they are the elusive unicorn.I’m a baby boomer and I retire this Friday at 59....

Didn't say there wasAnd how is financial illiteracy any different than Baby Boomers?
The ones that say they won't have kids, probably have a chance to save a million that's for sure. But a million doesn't last long if you don't have income at 56 years old which is the age they say they want to retire.
Will Starbucks meet the salary requirements..I wonderThe ones that say they won't have kids, probably have a chance to save a million that's for sure. But a million doesn't last long if you don't have income at 56 years old which is the age they say they want to retire.
Probably not, but at least there will always be a bathroom available...Will Starbucks meet the salary requirements..I wonder
I don't know about all Boomers vs GenXers............ but I think I agree. My oldest son, a GenX kid is doing amazingly well. Two kids. Private schools. Frequent nice vacations to nice places........ Life has been easier for him than it was for me and I am tickled pink about it. Hubs and I did NOT pay his way. He did it himself. You are definitely a young boomer. I am not sure we have quite survived either man bun or mullet.Man-buns will be the downfall of mankind...
(but we did survive the Mullet phenomena, so there is hope)
and there was the "shag haircut" and that "perm" phase in the 70's...I am not sure we have quite survived either man bun or mullet.
