We are on our way to Impeachment Mountain folks.

    Dress warmly for the climb.

The Guy Trump Cited as Proof There Wasn’t a Quid Pro Quo Just Said There Was a Quid Pro Quo

One of the president’s biggest allies just threw him under the bus

Congress released Sondland’s full testimony, along with an addendum he submitted to investigators this week. Apparently, Sondland forgot to tell Congress last month that a quid pro quo was in effect, and that the U.S. sending military aid to Ukraine was contingent upon Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky making a public declaration that the nation planned to investigate the 2016 election and the Bidens.

“I said that resumption of the U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anticorruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,” Sondland says in his new testimony, referring to a conversation he had with Andriy Yermak, a top adviser to Zelensky

So he was lying then or now ?
A quick read of Sondland’s words indicate an indecisive man with a faulty memory. “He believed…he did not know…but he came to believe…I presumed.”

He can’t recall conversations he had in early September. This man spent ten hours testifying before Schiff’s committee in October under oath and two weeks later, he changes his mind. Sondland now presumes there was quid pro quo. Obviously, this is a very subjective case.

Let’s look at the evidence. There is none. Just opinions and interpretations.

    You really believe everything. lol

I guess the possibility of a perjury charge jogged his memory.

That tends to happen every once and a while.

He can presume it was something all he wants.
    That doesn't make it so.
Until there is hard evidence, all this surmising and supposing equals nothing that would stand up in court.

Gordo, you were either lying then or lying now. Either way, you're a liar and any testimony you can give is worthless.

BUT If you need cold hard facts

Seeing many overblown (and outright false) reports about Ambassador Sondland's testimony. Here's what he actually said.

    1. I did not (and still don't) know why aid was held up
    2. I "PRESUMED" it was because of corruption
    3. I told Yermak my assumption

    EIopxmvWsAAJ51q.

    Uh- DERP. NOTHINGBURGER again.

    1. He seems to know why in this new statement.
“I said that resumption of the U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anticorruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,”

    2. His presumption was his 'there is no quid pro quo' text he sent to Taylor after Trump dictated it to him. Which he has now done a 180 on.

    3. Now he admits to even telling someone else about it.

Funny how his memory has become so clear once others told a different story.

It's almost as if he didn't want to go to jail for covering up for Trump.

No, he's a hack who bought his post for a million dollars from Trump Crime Inc.

You Trumpies didn't doubt a word he said last month. So we can assume you believe him now, right ?

There’s nothing in these transcripts, and, if you read them carefully — which most people are not gonna do.

Glad you know it's a nothing burger.

Maybe another font will aid you in figuring out what he testified to.

“I said that resumption of the U.S. aid would likely not occur until Ukraine provided the public anticorruption statement that we had been discussing for many weeks,”

Even if it is just the pink nail dug in Trumpies will hold on to their denial until the bitter end.

We have one claiming that Sondland was bribed.

    True desperation is setting in.

This impeachment inquiry is giving Trump more enemies.....from his own side.

Sondland, Bolton, the NSC and State Dept employees who confirmed Trump's extortion and bribery. Even Mulvaney for announcing there was a quid pro quo.

They're all messing with Trump's talking points. What will he do to them? Stay tuned.

Pompeo's reputation is taking a serious hit.....by concerned, smart people who know how much he's damaged the State Dept.....just to remain in Trump's favor.

For the last 3 yrs it's been one of those movie car chases. Trump is on the back of a truck and he's each time they get close he throws something else off the back to distract the public them to lose their attention. Was that a refrigerator ? Wow, did he just throw a couch off the back ? Man, was that the stove ?

    Impeachment is a political bulldozer.

Now no matter what he throws the truck from now on, it just piles up in front of that dozer as evidence that he is destroying all our stuff in an effort to distract us and is an unfit caretaker fir this the nation.

I might need to use that in my weekly appeal to Sen Portman as I restate the danger of NOT convicting and letting Trump run for reelection....with the risk that he might win.

    Be my guest.

And let him know Trump might be on the back, but he's the one your state's voters see driving the truck.

What will become of $1million donor Sondland?

TPM commenter thunder said it best:

Sondland will soon be able to describe the undercarriage of a Greyhound with exquisite detail.

You just outed yourself as a "soc" with this statement...
Gordo, you were either lying then or lying now.

Anyone who has posted here knows that GordonGecko (better known here as "Gordo" posted his last post in 2014. You entered this forum in Jan 2019.
How would you know Gordo?? We all realized from the get-go that you were a "fake" Liberal but now you also proved that you're a soc. I hope your little slip isn't just deleted by the Mods and Adm. @bdtex, @PhilFish and @SW48 .
I thought socs were ousted from this site? I'm surprised you weren't checked out to begin with since you're obviously posting as a Lefty when you're obviously a Trumper.
