Many come here to escape yes, being poor in America is still better than poor and in some other countries. No, minorities being mistreated when it comes to voting, especially in the south, has been an issue. Like trying to close polling locations earlier in urban Atlanta. I’m against any laws that could impact minorities more than others, as republicans have a record of trying to suppress their vote in recent years.
