Being limited to a week does, of course, place heavy constraints on the FBI, and that’s by design.

But how about the scope? It’s limited to “current credible allegations.” Who decides which allegations are credible? And what if the probe turns up new damning information? Is that off limits because it’s not “current”? Most importantly, will the FBI officials do their best within their very limited time while knowing that Trump wants them to find nothing and help with the whitewash?

    We shall see...

Actually the only real question other than why are we even entertaining the party of hate's delay tactic is will it be FBI agents who are not deep staters who do the investigations or will it be jerk offs like comey and his ilk?

By the “party of hate” I suppose you mean the Dems, and you think it’s “hate” to refuse to ignore an accusation of sexual assault. But Flake brought this about, and some other Republicans are decent, and they support the FBI probe. Granted, there aren’t many decent Republicans, but this is obviously not a Dem “delay tactic.”

I think what you are really asking is will it produce your desired results.

    I say no.

Kavanaugh will be confirmed and you will blame the FBI, the Russians, Gerrymandering, and the voices in your head.

Nope. But I will blame the FBI if they don’t thoroughly investigate the allegations. And I already blame the GOP Senate swine for giving them only a week.

That is really up to Flake,Collins and Murkowski. When they signal that they're ready to vote and voting for confirmation, there will be an up-or-down vote.

It’s in the hands of such decent people. And we’ll have to see if Trump or McConnell try to hide any of the results from the American people.

For you? The democrats? But I repeat myself…

No, of course not. It should be a short investigation. Very few alleged witnesses and no crime scene. A few interviews is all it will consist of (by necessity). Absent any of the four witnesses recanting their earlier written testimony, or a new witness emerging (which should be interesting because even Ford wouldn't presumably have knowledge of one), it should be a simple, quick review of the statements that are already on the record. But the democrats aren't interested in getting to the truth (that there is zero evidence that Kavanaugh is involved in this incident), but rather obfuscating and delaying to run out the clock on the mid-terms. Lets not pretend there's some higher motive in all this because it is painfully obvious that there isn't. You guys will caterwaul all the way to the confirmation (and beyond). That, is deplorable!

I take it from your inane post that your position is that the FBI should just ignore the allegations from the other two women who have come forward?
