NBC News incorrectly reported (as usual) that I was limiting the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh, and witnesses, only to certain people. Actually, I want them to interview whoever they deem appropriate, at their discretion. Please correct your reporting!

Will the investigators request more time, if the investigation is not complete?
If they do, will the request be public knowledge?
If the request is submitted, will it be granted?

What other U.S. federal investigation with as much importance to our nation, People, and laws; can you name that was arbitrarily given a one week deadline?

Unless some new informations surfaces, it should be wrapped up in a few days. There's only five or six people to interview (who have already made statements under oath concerning the accusation) and zero physical evidence. What could possibly drag it out?

Being limited to a week does, of course, place heavy constraints on the FBI, and that’s by design.

But how about the scope? It’s limited to “current credible allegations.” Who decides which allegations are credible? And what if the probe turns up new damning information? Is that off limits because it’s not “current”? Most importantly, will the FBI officials do their best within their very limited time while knowing that Trump wants them to find nothing and help with the whitewash?
