Nunes just

By March 2015, the US had committed more than $120 million in security assistance for Ukraine and had pledged an additional $75 million worth of equipment including UAVs, counter-mortar radars, night vision devices and medical supplies, according to the Pentagon's Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
That assistance also included some 230 armored Humvee vehicles.

Trump said Obama sent blankets....looks like he lied.

Were you thinking the Ukraine had no weapons of their own? Did you also know that Trump provided no weapons until 2018?

Hyperbole, which originated with John McCain:

Trump appears to be echoing a critique leveled at the Obama administration by the late Republican Sen. John McCain. "The Ukrainians are being slaughtered and we're sending blankets and meals," McCain said in 2015. "Blankets don't do well against Russian tanks."

Did you hear Nunes misrepresent the aid Obama sent to Ukraine? He dissed that support as sending blankets. Actually one of the shipments to Ukraine was counter battery radar. That proved decisive in combating Russian supplied artillery.

His comment was also irrelevant to the issue at hand. Did the administration communicate that the Ukraine was required to announce an investigation prior to receiving aid?
Why do Republicans always go back to Obama when they need to take the focus off of Trump?

Nunes is the "Shifty Schiff" of the far right
how is schiff shifty? besides, nunes is a low info nitwit. schiff has stuff growing in his yard with higher IQ's than nunes and other trump stooges put together.

So you agree...Trump lied.
Nope. Trump didn't lie one bit.

Are you going to call Poroshenko a liar? Or should we just call you the liar? .

You obviously didn't read my post did you??? That figures.....

Because if you had you would have seen quite clearly where the leader of Ukraine said this to our congress in 2014 while addressing them in person with quid pro Joe sitting right behind him I might add..... Poroshenko said his country appreciated the nonlethal assistance he was getting, but declared “one cannot win a war with blankets.”

Epic fail.

What a f'n joke.

Pull your head out of the sand. Name one thing Nunes had blatantly lied about or one single witness he has tampered with.

To compare him to Schiff demonstrates you don't have a clue what you're babbling about. Maybe you should stick to softball.
Nunes is such a punk ass clown i am surprised even trump stooges can stand his whiny stupid ass....

he is so easily upset he sued twitter for allowing a satirical twitter user for having a twitter account " devin nunes' cow" where he made fun of how inept and stupid and wimpy nunes is.

Devin Nunes has sued Twitter and several of its users, among them a parody account of his mother and a cow.

The Republican congressman is seeking $250m (£188m) in damages for “abusive, hateful and defamatory” content allegedly hosted on Twitter, which the suit claims was intended to interfere with the investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 Presidential election.

The complaint, filed in a Virginia state court on Monday, refers specifically to the accounts “Devin Nunes’ Mom” (@DevinNunesMom) and “Devin Nunes’ cow” (@DevinCow), as well as Republican communications consultant and critic of Mr Nunes, Liz Mair.

The content referred to in the complaint includes a human centipede-style diagram of waste passing from Russian president Vladimir Putin to US president Donald Trump, before passing to Mr Nunes.

The caption of the diagram, posted by the “Devin Nunes’ Mom” account, stated: “Here’s a helpful diagram to explain their relationship.”

A legal representative for Mr Nunes could not be reached for comment but in an appearance on Fox News on Monday Night, the Congressman said: “This is the first of many lawsuits that are coming... Our First Amendment rights are at stake here.” (what a joke- suing people for using their first amendment rights of satire and political speech is protecting NUNES' freedom of speech!! Only trump voters would fall for that shit!!)

here is the tweet that broke the little wimp's spineless back- from the twitter user Devin Nunes' Cow-

I already provided proof that we were sending more than blankets and meals.

he is right about blankets not winning wars, or people with fake bone spurs for that matter, but as shown to you before, we gave them non-lethal defensive military assistance to help defend themselves, and which was approved by a republican held congress. as shown before on this thread, obama doubled the amount of aid to Ukraine that had been authorized during Bush, with the aid being increased especially after Russia took Crimea, the last 2 years of the Obama terms. Under Trump, aid to Ukraine DECREASED!!! READ SOMETHING....

The Bush administration gave the least amount of aid to Ukraine, compared (so far) with the Trump administration and the Obama administration. During President George W. Bush’s eight years in office, from 2001 through 2008, the U.S. government provided about $1.1 billion to Ukraine, government figures reveal.

Congress almost doubled the amount of aid provided to Ukraine during President Barack Obama’s eight years in the White House, supplying $2.1 billion.

The amount began to spike in 2010 -- the same year that Ukraine held a presidential election. But the biggest jump came between 2015 and 2016. In 2015, the U.S. gave about $314 million to Ukraine; in 2016, that skyrocketed to $523 million, 63 percent of which went toward the military.

The increase came almost two years after an incredibly tumultuous year for Ukraine, which was thrust into a violent revolution in February 2014 when pro-European, anti-Russian protesters marched in the nation’s capital, Kiev, ultimately overthrowing the Ukrainian government and pro-Kremlin leader.

Less than one month later, the Russian military seized control of Crimea and, via a dubious referendum, annexed the peninsula.

Lawmakers approved another significant chunk of aid in 2017 -- the first year of Trump's term, giving Ukraine $446 million. In 2018, that slipped to $350 million.

https://www.foxbusiness.com/money/money-to-ukraine

446 MILLION IS LESS THAN WHAT OBAMA'S LAST YEAR WAS AT 523 MILLION, 63% OF IT MILITARY AID....GET IT? READ SOMETHING...READ SOMETHING..READ SOMETHING, THEN POST. you lie when you just spew crap with no source...

That was 230 humvees. Your dishonesty is on display for all to see...good job.

By the way, that was as of early 2015. The fighting had only been going on for a few months. We also sent troops to provide training...which the Ukrainians needed more than anything.

Did you know that the Ukrainians have 4,112 tanks, 1,000 artillery pieces, 400 aircraft and about 100 helicopters?

Trump killed the republican party plank in 2016 to provide lethal aid, then changed his mind in 2018.

Tell Vlad things will be different after the election.

"In 2014, after Russia annexed Crimea and began arming separatists in eastern Ukraine with tanks, armored vehicles and rocket launchers, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko came to Washington to plead for weapons to defend his country. In an impassioned address to a joint session of Congress — with Biden sitting directly behind him — Poroshenko said his country appreciated the nonlethal assistance he was getting, but declared “one cannot win a war with blankets.”

The Obama-Biden administration was unmoved. The Wall Street Journal reported at the time that “President Barack Obama stuck to his refusal to provide weapons or other lethal military gear to Ukraine, despite a passionate appeal Thursday for help in fighting pro-Russian rebels by Ukraine’s president.” Why? The administration feared that lethal aid would provoke Moscow.

So what did the administration give him? Instead of RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades), we provided MREs (meals ready to eat) — food rations. As one frustrated former Pentagon official put it at the time, “What kind of message does that send anyway? We are sending MREs while they are being invaded by an aggressor.”
