And the dominoes begin to fall.

    Of note:

The charges stem from the federal investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election led by special counsel Robert Mueller, which came to a formal end last month.

You liberals sure you want to keep looking for collusion and obstruction????

    Oh and one more thing.....

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Looks like “no more indictments” didn’t mean what you thought it did. Dominoes falling, indeed.

I must admit, I'm shocked to see this- especially this quickly.

I know we disagree on virtually everything. But I suspect we'r can both agree that DC needs a serious cleaning and to hell with which party gets hurt more.

    Fvck 'em all I say.

I'm guessing PJ leftists are a bit shell shocked at this news.

Get used to it. I have a feeling there's more to come.

I agree, but I disagree with the idea that the FBI or some similar agency is going to make the situation better.

He was indicted for work he did with Manafort not Obama. He was indicted on the same charges as Manafort, Gates, Flynn, Van Der swan, popodopolus etc. Related to the same activities.

    Facts matter.

Those don't. He still worked for Obama and Clinton. He is as much a treasure trove of information, if not more so, as was Michael Cohen. Get the picture?

The indictment is for things that happened two years after he left the Obama administration related to his work with Manafort, not Obama.

I discussed that already. The real question is how badly does HE want to avoid jail? We're going to find out, aren't we?

The thing is, if there were anything to spill on Obama or Clinton it would almost certainly already have come out. The only way they skated through 8 years of relentless right-wing witch-hunting was by being squeaky clean.

Wow!! Earth shattering!! Have you ever heard of this guy? Was he Obama's son in law or son or campaign manager or National Security Agency director? Was he Obama's personal lawyer and bagman who set up payments between Obama and gold digger mistresses to shut them up before elections, at Obama's orders, then both that lawyer/bagman and Obama lied about Obama being involved at all?

Here's the kicker- he was charged for what he did while he was connected to Paul Manafort!! Obama had nothing to do with what this guy did in connection with Manafort in Ukraine!! This is actually an indictment of an associate of TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER AND YOU CLOWNS ARE LAUGHING LIKE IT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH OBAMA!!

Gregory Craig, a prominent corporate lawyer and former adviser to Democratic presidents, was indicted by a U.S. grand jury in Washington, accused of making false statements and concealing information about his firm’s work on behalf of Ukraine.

U.S. prosecutors laid out how Craig, a top partner at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, took pains to avoid registering his work as foreign lobbying -- in part, they allege, out of a belief that registering under the so-called FARA law would prevent him and others from taking government jobs in the future.

Craig’s efforts included backdating a letter and invoice to obscure that a private Ukrainian had funded the work and allowing the Ukrainian government to lie about how much the work cost, prosecutors said in a 22-page indictment filed Thursday. Craig will be arraigned on Friday.

“I don’t want to register as a foreign agent under FARA. I think we don’t have to with this assignment, yes?” Craig wrote to another partner in the firm on Feb. 13, 2012, according to the indictment.

In January, the firm paid $4.6 million and agreed to register as a lobbyist for a foreign government, as part of a Justice Department settlement. Skadden admitted it should have registered earlier for the work it did to benefit Ukraine with Paul Manafort, who went on to become Donald Trump’s campaign chairman. At the time, prosecutors said the Skadden partner on the project made false and misleading statements to the Justice Department. The partner was separately identified as Craig, who left the firm in April 2018.

An investigation can only be as good as the organization conducting it. Very true.

Let us hope the Obama weaponization and politicization of our Justice Department has subsided. I'm not optimistic.

I don't recall mentioning anything Earth shattering.

You don't remember Greg Craig? He was by Obama's side at his first press conference ad president- the EO ordering Gitmo be closed.

Someone asked what was going to happen to the prisoners there. Obama froze. The clown had no idea! Greg Craig chimed in with, "we're going to set up a process."

Obviously, counsel Obama chose to be at his side to save his ass makes him a close associate and crony.

Itappears you have done work to do to get yourself informed. Good luck.

Obama while my favorite leftist, was an empty vessel. Just a privileged, dumb chain smoking drunk, with a teleprompter.

he left obama's administration and began working with Manafort when he failed to register as a foreign agent. it appears you need to do your work and see you are happy a Manafort associate was busted, not an Obama associate!! How silly is that?
