Obama Ship is Sinking

Jen

Senator
The magic of his rhetoric is long gone, and not just because the public has tuned him out.
They’ve tuned him out because they’ve made up their minds about him. They no longer trust him and don’t think he’s a good leader.

Most ominously, they feel less safe now than they did when he took office. Americans know the war on terror isn’t over, no matter what their president claims.

Those findings turned up in a tsunami of recent polls that amount to a public vote of no confidence. They shook up the White House so much that the plan to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants was put on hold to try to protect Democratic candidates from voter wrath in November.

That was a necessary tactical retreat, but it doesn’t change the basic calculation. The president’s problem is that he has been wrong about virtually every major issue.

The one area where he should have really done well - race relations - he was a real dud. The one place where he could have made a difference - he didn't. Obama obviously wasn't ready to be President, as many people said while he was still running. And he still hasn't learned enough while in office to do the job correctly or to be right on most issues/ on any issues, really.

And yet..............with all of this knowledge and information that has reached just about everyone, we still have PJ Leftists who extoll the greatness of The Obama One............ and call anyone who points out that this Emperor of theirs is naked............racist and worse.

They sit their behind their computers hurling desperate insults and looking mighty .............ridiculous.

His record on race relations is deplorable. More people think that we have a racial division in this nation than a decade ago. Barry’s presidency has been fraught with missteps and bad calls on his part, which has even brought our legal system into question. Every time Barry pushes a side, it’s invariably the wrong side.

It’s been 6 years and Barry still hasn’t learned when to speak up and when to just keep his mouth shut.

I wasn't a fan of Hillary and would not have voted for her, but given that we were going to have a Democrat in there after Bush, she would have been a much better choice.

Really ? Republicans ranting about race relations ? Tell me one group you folks haven't (intentionally) offended or tried to ostracize ? And you guys have the nerve to talk about dividing people ? From day one you made his race an issue to run against. You have this over all message that there was something wrong in this country and that it had somehow been taken away from its rightful owners.

You have obviously bought into the propaganda put forth by Leftists regarding Republican racism. I don't find your opinion of lies being true worth responding thoughtfully to, so I'll not comment on it.

Lies ? You mean like this Republican running for office didn't spew.
He won by the way. So let's not pretend this kind of language doesn't work with right wingers .

Obama has turned out to be the biggest epic failure ever for the presidency. He was nothing more than a packaged product disguised to appeal to the masses, but once elected his incompetence has finally emerged. Many of us could see it right away, but the media protected his every word and action, that can only last so long before reality is seen by all. Obama has no skills or intellect required to be president, to top it off he doesn't even want to try and do the job, he is too self centered that all he is willing to do is golf, play basketball and fly around giving speeches. Even the speeches can no longer carry any message and fall flat as their is nothing believable he can say, everyone is on to him.

The Media prevented Obama from being properly vetted. And it called anyone who tried to vet Obama (as most potential presidents are vetted) "racist" thus shutting it all down.

The masses, the Democrats..........bought it hook line and sinker and now they are too embarrassed at their stupidity to admit they were wrong and they bought a product that was mislabeled and sold as something it wasn't. Shame on them.

Anybody that would turn down $50 million (Donald Trump' offer) to authorize the release of his Hawaiian birth records obviously has something to hide and an agenda.

Holding Ramadan dinners in the White House is another clue. As is breaking the law to release those 5 hardened terrorist commander types just a week or so before ISIS became the big news.

I doubt he'd spend the 50 big ones on a birthing film of himself........... but really...........he should have taken it. His speeches might not be worth much in his out years.

Obama's ratings are low. He's disliked by those on the far right for being liberal (despite arguably being more conservative than Nixon, Reagan, and GHW Bush in a number of ways). He's disliked by those on the left for being conservative. And he's disliked by those in the middle for not being able to work magic (they'd like him to magically heal the partisan rifts in Washington -- as if he could wave his wand and make the GOP sane again). But, despite low ratings, his time will probably be seen as a success. Overall, he inherited a country experiencing an almost unprecedented catastrophe and he seems poised to leave behind a country that's pretty much business-as-usual. For example, he inherited a country bleeding jobs at a rate last seen in the Great Depression, and he'll leave a country with unemployment probably in the unremarkable 5s, and run-of-the-mill job creation. He inherited a country neck-deep in two bloody morasses in the Middle East, and will likely leave the country with its status quo limited military fiddling in foreign affairs, as opposed to all-out military occupations. Taking an utter disaster and turning it into bland mediocrity is a qualified success.

It is not how liberal or how conservative he is, compared to other Presidents, that most people disagree with. That really hasn't been much of an issue either way.

The problem is regarding important things that show he has no idea what he's doing:
  • his speaking out when he shouldn't
  • his not speaking out when he should
  • his not knowing what's going on soon enough to fix things
  • his finding out ON THE NEWS like the rest of us and admitting it
  • his inability to take responsibility for his choices
  • his taking credit for something until it goes wrong then turning around and saying it really wasn't his idea after all
  • his blaming the Republicans or Bush or the weather or a tsunami for everything that goes wrong because of a decision he made
  • his not being engaged in his job
  • his having no strategy and then having a disjointed one that nobody can figure out
  • his thinking we are stupid enough to believe him when he says ISIS is not Islamic
This is the short list.
It has nothing to do with conservative or liberal, Democrat or Republican philosophy.
