on my house.
More properly, "peafowl", as most of those are hens. Beautiful birds, but noisy and aggressive. There's an area up in a canyon not far from me that we call "peacock country" there are so many. Not many white birds there, tho. If you drive up there, many of them will come out in the road and attack your car.
These things are all over the neighborhood. They are not overly aggressive but neither are they afraid of people. One of them shit on my soninlaw's car.
Yeah have one give out a call of the wild while your in your back swing and it isn't pretty.
Golf is for pussies.
Friday, I heard they were somewhat aggressive also but not as bad as Swans.
This you might like Jack, it takes one or two minutes to load, I think they are absolutely magnificent.
Did you take these pictures? They are beautiful.
No I didn't, I could never take anything of that quality.
beautiful but noisy, huh.
My dogs love to chase them. They come into my backyard sometimes 8 or 10 of them (and other houses in the neighborhood too) and fly onto the roof when the dogs get after them.
I had a friend who lived on a lake and she had peacocks and hens. I would love to have some here, but although our houses are nicely spaced, I have a feeling my neighbors might protest. The covenant forbids wind chimes and privacy fences....... and mentions we can't have 'exotic pets'.......that probably rules out peacocks and the small pig I really want.
Swans are mean! My ex husband was attacked by one as we walked down a path at Linderhoff Castle in Germany.......... he came between it and its trail of "ugly ducklings" that crossed the path........ Eeek! It wasn't pretty.
