Perception vs. Reality

Which is more important?

Well, first of all it must be recognized that perception often is not reality and in too many instances is never reality.

As in the perception so many lefties have of President Trump.

As in the perception of most liberals that the so called African-Americans are victims not perpetrators.

As in most liberal perceptions are not reality. One could go on and on about their perceptions.

Why is it so many have difficulty distinguishing the differences between their perceptions and reality?....my guess would be their perceptions are influenced if not controlled by their agenda.

Yet, it must be recognized that perceptions have a lot of power as in how the media uses perceptions to influence the masses.

In fact it could be argued and very logically so that the media does not really care about reality...aka the truth. They seem to think they can create reality with their fake news aka propaganda.

No doubt they have had a huge impact on clueless voters....look how many they helped hoodwink into voting for Hillary with such manufactured perceptions that she was really for the people, that she even sometimes told the truth, that all those murders of people connected to the Clintons was just a co-incidence and nothing more or something promoted by conspiracy nuts.

All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the BIG LIE there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
And........ they cannot believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down.
A fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying...aka the media.
