Everybody aboard ship goes to fire fighting school. Those who lead teams go more than once, both for fire fighting and damage control.

My other job was in IT and I spent most of my enlistment at the Fleet Operations Control Center. Mostly nuclear weapons inventory and Sea Surveillance.

The closest you got to a nuke was the discovery channel
When did I ever claim to have been near any nuclear weapons?

I got out of the navy in 1975. I never took a job as a fireman, don't know where you imagined you'd read that. Not everyone in the Navy goes to fire fighting school, but everyone stationed on a ship does...that was because of the Forrestal fire in 1967. I went to firefighting training 3 times in the service. Each time for a week.

Were you ever in the military? Nah.

Fire Science classes are a lot more involved than dragging a hose. As a first responder I'm surprised you don't know that. If you were actually involved in fighting an av-gas fire using water you'd know the problem in sending untrained people to do the job.

I never said I work for an exchange. I work for a brokerage. Maybe you think those are the same thing...it would be about your speed.
Was Bill Gates, or Thomas Edison ever in the military? Nah Was Trump Obama or Clinton ever in the military? Nah

You equate all success with the military, really?

LOL you still can't even begin to delve into the future of infinitely unhackable quantum entangled communications code, or a space based quantum internet...………………...

But you used a fire extinguisher once

When you said that the Navy let you inventory them. Do tell us what level clearance dud u have? Top secret double probation is my guess

You assumed that people in IT actually had to go count warheads. Stupid assumption on your part.

I assumed nothing as in order to inventory nuclear warheads even from a computer standpoint one would need to know locations. Note most mainframe specialist got their start at firefighting right? Even today Google hires firefighters to develop their quantum computing algorithms

I could give you the specs for the external multiple hard drive quick swap terminal that I created back in the day before such things were common, but then I would have to kill you as is the standard protocol...………………..

Did you know that the NSA used to spend months trying to crack the core win xp code only to succeed and find a smiley face with the text "great job guys" and a meaningful dead end. You knew that right.

Ah gee, those were the days.
