As a mod you must have an open door policyI had kinda forgotten about that. Haven't given it much thought in a long time. Not really an option for a Moderator.

Not for a moderator, of course. But it's a good option for the rest of us.I had kinda forgotten about that. Haven't given it much thought in a long time. Not really an option for a Moderator.
His back door is always open...As a mod you must have an open door policy
If you're opposed to the ratings system, why do you utilize it, yourself? You can disable receiving alerts for all kinds of things. You can disable ratings and tag alerts and even reply alerts. Just click on your name in the top tool bar then click on "Alert Preferences" in the dropdown menu and start unchecking boxes. I disabled ratings alerts long ago. You can disable alerts when you are tagged in posts by unchecking the "Mentions you in a message" box.
Utilizing and abusing are not the same thing. If you're opposed to the ratings system, why do you utilize it, yourself?
All in the eye of the beholder...Utilizing and abusing are not the same thing.
Why do you assume that others are abusing the system? It's your opinion......... and not necessarily reality.Utilizing and abusing are not the same thing.
When I rate it's because it's deserved in my opinion and I don't whin when I get a negative rating.Utilizing and abusing are not the same thing.
Oh...sooo….."that's different"...?Utilizing and abusing are not the same thing.
I know it when I see it and I saw it from the very beginning and I knew exactly who would do it and I use "Alert Preferences" instead of "Ignore" to filter out the bullshit. Why do you assume that others are abusing the system?
Yes they are and you know the difference too.Oh...sooo….."that's different"...?
A mod using the ignore function amazingOh...sooo….."that's different"...?
in your leftist view yet you are pro-Confederacy another out of place subject and why your leftist buddies don't call you out on it.I know it when I see it and I saw it from the very beginning and I knew exactly who would do it and I use "Alert Preferences" instead of "Ignore" to filter out the bullshit.
I'm not a moderator so I don't need to look for anyone abusing the ratings. I can say, though, that I don't abuse the ratings and I don't believe that anyone who is rating my posts is abusing the ratings.I know it when I see it and I saw it from the very beginning and I knew exactly who would do it and I use "Alert Preferences" instead of "Ignore" to filter out the bullshit.
I'm certainly not accusing everyone of doing it and I don't need to name names. They know who they are and only the newbies don't know who they are.I'm not a moderator so I don't need to look for anyone abusing the ratings. I can say, though, that I don't abuse the ratings and I don't believe that anyone who is rating my posts is abusing the ratings.
I guess I just assume that since I know I'm not abusing them and I'm pretty sure nobody is abusively rating my posts ..... it's not really a problem.
I'm not a victim. I disabled the signature crap and most of the alerts crap years ago. Those who feel they are victims tend to always fall on the left and desire censorship.
Then quit acting like one.I'm not a victim. I disabled the signature crap and most of the alerts crap years ago.
