Republicans poised to snatch US Senate in mid-terms

Poor little "O" will be increasingly ineffectual as a leader (I know it seems impossible doesn't it) if the Republicans take the Senate. No wonder the left wing loonies are in such a turmoil and increasingly venomous (Rabid?) on the 'Net here lately.

The more conservative of the main American parties already controls the House of Representatives, and no one seriously predicts Democrats will retake it this year.
