Rigged Election?

Donald Trump complained incessantly that the election was rigged. Then he won. Now, the issue is dead.

I'm beginning to think maybe the election WAS rigged. Barack Obama left America in such a shambles that almost no mortal could get us going again without a miracle. IF Hillary had won, many wonder if the people would rebel against her agenda.

But, that isn't what got me to thinking. In 1928 the Republicans got control over all three branches of the government. Then came the Great Depression. Maybe you couldn't lay the blame on the Republicans for getting us there, but Republicans had to deal with it. The next time Republicans controlled all three branches was under George Bush... and then came 9 / 11.

Now we have Trump who is not the favorite guy of the Republican Establishment. Worse, the guys he's surrounding himself with are 180 degrees opposite in thinking from the Trump platform. To wit:

Trump makes much ado about people he calls "illegal aliens." Trump surrounds himself with people like Chris Christie and Rudy Giuliani. Where do they stand on this issue?

"Being an illegal immigrant "is not a crime" and shouldn't be, Republican presidential contender Rudy Giuliani said yesterday, drawing quick fire from GOP opponent Mitt Romney.
"No, it shouldn't be

"Don't let people make you believe that that's a crime that the U.S. attorney's office should be doing something about," Christie was quoted as saying in The Star-Ledger of Newark for Monday editions. "It is not."

Christie stressed that lacking immigration documents is not a crime unless the person was previously deported

Did the Democrats know who Trump was picking to help him carry out the Trump platform? Do you think there is something I'm not seeing?

Trump has to undo the damage done by Barack Obama and face a Republican Establishment that don't like him. Some Establishment legislators even stooped so low as to waste their vote on Hillary Clinton. Adding insult to injury, Trump is eyeing Newt Gingrich for some position. Gingrich? The Establishment blamed his leadership for losses in the House and Gingrich resigned from the House - even calling the Republicans a bunch of cannibals.

You think the Dems rigged this election just to watch the Republican Party implode?
