The charge was that NOAA was quite literally changing the temperature records across the globe and in the US, revising normal high temperatures downward to make current temperatures appear to be drastically higher than they were historically. They were actually caught doing so.
Yeah. that stands to reason. Follows the narrative science. and proves there were humans around 3 million years ago living in air conditioned caves, driving SUVs, and herding millions of farting cows and for their folly paid the ultimate price.
Yeah. Tens of millions of scientists, across the political spectrum, in pretty much every country in the world, all managed to work together to create the appearance of multiple lines of independent data, much of which was important to fields having nothing to do with climatology, all supported the hypothesis of global warming. Then they somehow increased the frequency of extreme weather events to the point that anyone who ever went outside saw their predictions apparently confirmed on a local scale.
It was SUVs that killed off the Mammoths. It's science.

No, it does not settle that. Warming can occur for a number of reasons. The evidence clearly establishes that the current warming is exceedingly likely to be caused almost entirely by human activity. It doesn’t mean that greenhouse gas concentrations weren’t higher in the past for different reasons and caused warming then also, nor does it mean that warming didn’t occur for reasons not related to greenhouse warming at yet another time.
It’s hotter now than at any time for tens of thousands of years. When GHG concentrations were much higher it was tens of millions of years ago.
There are literally tens of millions of scientists involved in producing the evidence for global warming.
I recommend you drop the hyperbole, Rich. You look foolish. Tens of millions of scientists are not studying global warming.
It is not just scientists studying global warming who are providing evidence for AGW theory. The evidence crops up all over the place in every scientific discipline because the theory is so closely tied to the basic fundamental theories of physics, chemistry, and astronomy.
