I don't know. Humanity has been around for awhile. In addition, race, a social construct not a genetic one, has had a fluid definition. Some, during the mass Irish immigration to the US, did not consider Irish white. Some did not consider Italians white (and maybe still), nor Spaniards nor Portuguese nor Greeks. So to decide whether your statement is correct, we'd have to agree to some definition of what "white" is (and whether one who is "white" but has an ancestor that was not "white," would fit into the "white" category when participating in whatever killing you're referring to. We'd also have to decide when to begin counting kills by "white" and "non-white" peoples. Shall we start at 10,000 BC? 0 AD? 1500?

What you posted doesn't address anything about race being a social construct. It talks about assigning genes to a genetic population that can be described as a "race" if that's how one wants to term it. Notice how the author keeps putting the word "race" in quotation marks? That's because race is a social construct. If one wants to take a bunch of similar genetic material and group it into a category called "race," one can do so. It's an arbitrary assignment. A lot of other genetic material will match people in another "race" (or whatever one wants to name that bin). The more we understand about genetics and genetic material, the finer and finer we can group people by selected (and selective) genes until we are each in a single "race" of our own.

In the article he talks about the "Tiano" people -- the 15 individuals found who contain specific common genetic markers marking them as having ancestors who were Tiano. The Tiano genetic material made up 10-15% of their genome, the rest representing all the contribution of their non-Tiano ancestors, which were European and African. What "race" would you assign those people to based on their genetic makeup? The "race" of the dominant percentage of their genome? Currently race is "assigned" to people using visible physical characteristics (skin color, facial features, and hair texture, predominantly). Using genes to assign a "race," we can come up with an unending series of definitions for race - all of which will be as arbitrary and unnecessary as using physical characteristics.

I'm glad you got to know that man. There is no way to separate the [Unwelcome language removed] from the good guys. But there is a way you can help make sure this man you met is not painted with the broad brush of terrorism merely because he's Muslim. Simply don't ascribe to Islam the acts of terrorists who use Islam as their excuse for terror, same as one shouldn't ascribe to any entire group the acts of a minority of its members. Most Irish are not terrorist members of the New IRA, most Catholic priests are not pedophiles, most white people are not racists, most BLM members do not want to kill cops, most Antifa supporters are not violent, etc. The downside (I guess) is that one can't simply look at someone and assume they are good or bad based on some characteristic or belief system. My belief is that the vast majority of people just want to live their lives, find someone to love, raise their children, live harmoniously with their neighbors, and enjoy the fruits of their labor. It is the horrific few who, unfortunately, give a bad name to the rest if we allow them to by ascribing to their in-group all the bad traits those few exhibit. Demonizing all Muslims for the terrorists actions of a minority of their group acts as a recruiting tool for Muslim terrorist groups by adding fuel to, and cementing, disaffected Muslim's sense that all of the West is against Muslims as a religion.
