In 2013-14 when Page helped the FBI break up a Russian spy ring, the Russians reportedly thought of him as an idiot. Looking at his lawsuit against the DNC they were right.

Sadly for you, it has nothing to do with the fact the Obama DOJ lied to a FISA court to get a warrant on him.

He also admitted to being an advisor to the Kremlin. Then Trump names him as a foreign policy adviser.

Jeez, why would that raise any suspicions?

He wasn’t part of Trump’s campaign when they got the warrant. In fact, the Trump campaign said they had no contact with him.

Once they have the warrant they can seize his communications going back as far as their little hearts desired.

Your dodge is noted. Perhaps you should stick to counting ice cream scoops (assuming the number doesn't exceed your supply of fingers).

Where did I suggest they kept the content? The have the metadata and it should show the "GRU's" contacts with Wikileaks. If they had that evidence, they could charge Assange with conspiracy to interfere in the US election. Unless, of course, they consider him a "journalist," in which case they have no case against him for publishing Manning's information. You don't get to have it both ways...

What metadata? If a GRU or FSB guy in one of the Russian mansions that Obama shut down, were to hack a DNC computer, use that to get into the DNC email server, extract email to a file on the email server, then FTP the file to his own PC and copy the file to a thumb drive...you can possibly track the data from the DNC email server to the PC owned by the Russians. The thumb drive could then be handed to an Assange associate in a park in DC....

The case against him for Manning is that he helped Manning hack the systems where he copied the cables. Manning and Assange are both participants in the conspiracy.

How did Assange's "associate" know to be at the "park in DC?" You know they have the phone logs too, right?
