“Socialism destroyed my home”.

Raoul_Luke

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
Yes, I was a child under specific social circumstances that you are pretending are universal. If it is individual creeps and not the way a society is set up that make it oppressive, logically you cannot blame socialism for the individual failures of certain socialist countries (any more than you could blame capitalism for its centuries-long record of horrific failure); I don’t buy that premise though.
Of course not! Where did I ever do that? All I am suggesting here is that the system that best mitigates the failures of humankind is capitalism.

It is literally impossible for capitalism to work unless the majority get low wages. Low wages are the foundation of capitalism.
maybe you should stay away from those five dollar words until you get a better understanding of the English language comrade. Your use of "literally and of majority" are not being used in such a way as to make sense

It always does. What’s stunning to me is how it’s possible that anyone with a brain could even THINK differently.

Trump wants socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for the rest of us.

When he was in business, Trump perfected the art of using bankruptcy to shield himself from the consequences of bad decisions — socialism for the rich at its worst — while leaving employees twisting in the wind.

so being permitted to keep more of what we earn is socialism? Does the liberal dictionary update every 5 minutes?

so another moving definition I see. your Obama gave billions of our money to a twice failed auto manufacturer.
And you do realize that the bankruptcy laws were in place long before he was in office don't you?

Thanks for helping me make my point.
Socialism for the wealthy, harsh capitalism for the rest of us.

socialism is for the ruling class and is used to control the ignorant masses like religion is. So why do you want the likes of those wackjobs in DC deciding how much bread you get?

perhaps he is referring to the technological advances that feed the world, cure illness and provide the highest standard of living in history.
Capitalism has become an obstacle to further technological progress, which is why cutting-edge technology today is almost always developed via state investment and often in socialist countries. The standard of living is declining, and socialist countries have a better record of actually feeding their populace and curing illnesses.

That isn’t socialism. Socialism is workers smashing the state and becoming the ruling class.
