He was with us for 14 years and this was one of his last long walks 2 years ago. We drove into the foothills and he did his favorite thing- walked with his daddy. I changed it to black and white because it seemed right:

Sad to lose a pet, especially one you have loved for such a long time. One can almost see the defeated feeling and the sadness felt as the two slowly walk down the path..

Breaks your heart... love the photo!

This photo was taken a couple of years before Spunky passed away. She died in my arms on August 22, 2008 2:58am!
Not a day that goes by that i don't think about her.
