Did you even read your article, it clearly says DISTRIBUTION CENTER - do you know what that means ?

You play the fool so well. You remind me of a Big LeRoy I once knew.

More of those manufacturing jobs that aren't coming back, per Øbama and Hillary. Maybe those two can learn to code?

Tool maker Stanley Black & Decker is expanding its U.S. manufacturing operations with a new plant in north Fort Worth.

The iconic American company is putting a 425,000-square-foot manufacturing plant with 500 full-time jobs in the AllianceTexas development near Interstate 35W.

The plant will open late next year, producing a variety of Craftsman brand mechanics tools, including sockets, ratchets and wrenches.

"When we purchased Craftsman 2017, we were determined to revitalize this iconic U.S. brand and bring back its American manufacturing heritage," Stanley Black & Decker president and CEO Jim Loree said in a statement. "From the launch of Craftsman's refreshed brand identity last year to our announcement of the first new manufacturing facility in many years, we're demonstrating our continued commitment to grow the brand and bring even more production of these great products back to the United States.

"This new plant will also be the latest in our network of manufacturing facilities — one that uses state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and demonstrates our commitment to becoming one of the world's leaders in advanced manufacturing."

The world’s largest tool manufacturer, Stanley Black & Decker, is bringing its manufacturing operations to North Texas.

The company announced Wednesday that it is opening a 1.2 million-square-foot distribution center at AllianceTexas in Northlake next month.

The new Denton County center will service central and southern states and will employ more than 300 people, according to a news release.

“The expansion of our operations in Texas enables us to better serve our customers across the country with a centralized distribution hub for our world-renowned tools, manufactured at our 30 U.S. plants,” said Jeff Ansell, executive vice president and president for Stanley Black & Decker, in a written statement.

Vice president of real estate for Stanley Black & Decker, Greg Smulski, said, due to growing demand from customers in the central and southern parts of the country, Northlake “is the ideal location to support our current operational needs while also providing future growth opportunities.”
