It depends on what he's willing to give the Palestinians. If he will strongly advocate for a Palestinian state, and allow them to establish Jerusalem as their capital it could push the peace process along. I don't see him doing that, but here's a chance to do so. Not that the Israelis would make any concessions either, nor will the Palestinians.

Your lack of any real understanding of the issues between Israel and the Palestinians is remarkable. The Israelis have declared a city they conquered and occupied as their capital.
They have refused to return land to the owners after having occupied the land with their army. For some reason you can't seem to feel anything at all for poor farmers who were robbed of ancestral land and had that land given to someone else. Instead you think it is ok, since those farmers are of the same religion as someone else who doesn't like Jews because they are Jews.

Trump will spend millions of dollars for additional security, not just for the move. What does the US get out of it? Nothing....not one damn thing.
