Not sure if there was an intended explanation in there but if so, I missed it. If you are in business you simply cannot refuse to serve any class of US citizen. That is discrimination and I'd suggest those who attempt to discriminate be denounced, not held up as some sort of martyr.

If you go to Sweet Cakes by Melissa dot com you'll find the Bible verse John 3:16 proudly displayed.

They were mostly likely targeted as were Jewish businesss in Germany. Same tactics, different agenda.

That is hard core censorship of ones religious belief and a indisputable violation of bakers 1st amendment right.

That bakery not only has a right to be in contempt of court from that unlawful verdict, but a duty.

I would say they are more fascist than anything else at this point, at least the progreSSive wing of the left are. Think about what happens to college professors, DNC employees, union members, school teachers and journalists who deviate even slightly from the party line. That bakery did NOT refuse to sell the Lesbian couple a cake.
It only refused to put a specific "message" on the cake. If what you are saying is true then the Lesbians should not have won the lawsuit.

I'm confused. If messages are not covered and the bakery refused the message inherent in a wedding cake, but would bake them a double or triple tired white frosted cake, why is it costing them their business?

They refused to sell a cake based on their sexual orientation. That is against Oregon law. State's rights, you know...
