Waterloo Teen Arrested for Throwing Snowball


The Waterloo Police Department reports the warrant arrest of Christopher G. Ludwig, 17 of 79 Stark Street Waterloo, NY for Harassment in the second degree and for a violation of the Village of Waterloo Municipal Code.

The arrest is a result of a complaint where it is alleged that Ludwig did throw a snow ball, striking another person which did cause pain and redness to the victim’s leg.

Ludwig was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear on a later date.

I can give you two cases, one my kid was 7 years old and the cops kid across the street threw a snow ball at my son and hit him right in the face, yelling just before it hit him, hey Dave. He had blood from head to toe. His dad wouldn't come to the door.

My son and a few of his buddies were throwing snowballs at cars, they got caught and i had to pay a fine. It happens

But....arresting a kid like it was a real and intentional crime? Sounds harsh.
