If this gun isn't to kill PEOPLE...what is it made for? And look at the difference of what a gun like this does to school children's bodies, compared to a handgun. Talk to one of the people who cared for those who were in the hospitals and morgues. One of them said that when an organ is hit by a bullet from a gun like that, it looks like someone took a hammer to it...but bullets from weapons like a hand gun can go through an organ without killing the person. And they have a longer shooting range and more velocity. That's why they were used by the mass murderers if they can get their hands on one.

Yes, it is primarily made for killing people. So what is your point? That the 2A (i.e. self-defense) isn't about killing people!?!

Wounds from a handgun are just as bad in that they kill just as dead. The VTech shooter killed 33 people with a 9mm and a .22 pistol. (Aside - most shootings are done with handguns, are harder to get because of costs, are more concealable, can be more lethal with defense style rounds, ...)

Finally, Nikolas Cruz should have had his guns confiscated and put into NICS. Why didn't the Democratic powers that have ruled Broward County FOR DECADES manage to do that?

How many people are killed a year using ALL types of rifles? Easily less than 500. How many with handguns? In the thousands. Which is more "dangerous?" The handguns. Why don't you ban handguns? Because that is for later. The "compromise" right now is AR-15's.

The wounds from a .45, 44 magnum, .357, and a good number of JHP defensive rounds (ALL of them handgun calibers) are terrifying to contemplate. .223/5.56 are horrible when they hit torsos because their light weight bullets were designed to tumble. You can get 5.56 wounds that go in as a pencil hole and come out as a pencil hole.

Despite your over the top and irrational fear of guns your comments don't amount to much that hasn't been known for a very long time.

Please tell me why the Democrats in Broward county did not take away Cruz's guns and prohibit him from buying any new ones by placing him in NICS?
