The "singularity" is an impossible concentration of matter/energy. A rational interpretation would require an eruption from another universe. All the other oddities of Postclassical Physics can only be understood with that in mind. Only if the fundamentals of this absurd physics are torn down and replaced can it become intuitive. All Is Lava.

The errors were caused by the fact that 19th Century German science students were never allowed to think for themselves. Then all of a sudden, on getting their doctorates, they were allowed to think but didn't know how to. This led to wild speculation, using fudged mathematics and circular reasoning to draw in other stunted minds.
