Hope Hicks is testifying before a House committee today but, at the last minute, Trump’s stonewall team said she is “immune” from answering any questions about her time in the White House.

Got that sports fans? She spoke about such things with Mueller’s team, providing damning testimony about Trump, so Trump now says she is “immune” from testifying before Congress - an absurd position concocted by the Trump stonewall team.

Lotsa fireworks out of DC today...

Update: As expected, Trump’s lawyers blocked all questioning as to the events in question on the grounds of the “immunity” doctrine they concocted out of whole cloth. They claim that a former White House employee cannot be asked about events related to a congressional investigation of Trump’s crimes.

In other words, Trump is now obstructing justice in the investigation of Trump’s obstruction of justice.
