The unemployment rate is now where it was when Man first walked on the moon

About the graph, because that is exactly what the graph shows. I looked it up before, Kennedy, lower; Johnson, lower; Nixon, higher; Carter, lower; Reagan, higher, GHWB, higher; Clinton, lower; GWB, higher; Obama, lower. I will be surprised if the Trump/Pence/ ?, 4 yr term, doesn't end up the same way.
How about Andrew Jackson?
:-/

Whatever, I don't get into the party loyalty thing.

Thanks Obama.
You are absolutely right on this...Obama lost millions of jobs and it makes you appreciate what a job creator like Trump can do.

But really no one wants to remember how the job market went when Democrats took over the House and Senate in 2007

You looked something up...Whoa! I guess there is a first time for everything. Also just so you know about your graph. It shows that jobs numbers get better for Democrats when the House and senate are controlled by Republicans and it gets worse when Democrats control the House and Senate. See : Obama, Bush. Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter....

The graph doesn't go back that far. I was only talking about what was observed in it, not all of America history.
Of the 16 democrat Presidents only 16 were job killers

Ronald Reagan R 1981–1985 91,037 96,373 + 5,336 +1.47%
Ronald Reagan R 1985–1989 96,373 107,168 +10,795 +2.80%
George H. W. Bush R 1989–1993 107,168 109,805 + 1,917 +0.45%
Bill Clinton D 1993–1997 109,805 121,381 +12,296 +2.85%
Bill Clinton D 1997–2001 121,381 132,705 +11,324 +2.33%
George W. Bush R 2001–2005 132,705 132,794 + 89 +0.02%
George W. Bush R 2005–2009 132,794 134,053 + 1,259 +0.24%
Barack Obama D 2009–2013 134,053 135,266 + 1,213 +0.23%
Barack Obama D 2013–2017 135,266 145,554 + 10,288[3] +1.85%

Notice how jobs are much better when Republicans control the House and Senate.

The unemployment rate is what was observed in the graph and the subject of the top post.

A stellar example of the prevailing rule in Trumplandia - up is down.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
If you ever get deprogrammed you’ll learn about the record streak of economic growth and jobs growth during the Obama era, which has carried forward into the Trump era.

You should get deprogrammed.
That is, in fact, propaganda. There are clearly trends in place that work against that narrative:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-06-01/us-added-record-904000-full-time-jobs-last-month

Since Obama left office (and took his socialist policy agenda with him) the trend toward part-time, low wage service jobs has given way to an explosion of full-time, higher paid manufacturing, mining and construction jobs:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-06-01/where-jobs-were-may-whos-hiring-and-who-isnt

Note to all: This is why the left denigrates Zerohedge - they report the facts that destroy the lefty narratives. They can't refute their facts, so they must pretend it doesn't post facts, and only presents wild conspiracy theories. Lets all watch them avoid these facts...

Thatnks for another opportunity to show your incredible ability to avoid facts in an effort to promote your "all Obama all the time" agenda:

There's clearly something else going on here than simply an extension of the trends in place during the Obama (non) recovery. Almost 1 million full-time jobs created:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-06-01/us-added-record-904000-full-time-jobs-last-month

The Obama era trend toward part-time, low wage service jobs has given way to more full-time, higher wage jobs in manufacturing, mining and construction:

Yes, I know, it's Zerohedge (insert knee-jerk ad hominem attack on the site so you don't have to address their facts).

Regardless, the fact is that there's something fundamentally different about these current (good) economic trends from the ones that resulted from the Obama agenda. I agree that Trump is a lousy President, but the fact is he's a damn sight better one than Barack Obama. Obama's assault on capitalism resulted in a huge decline in the LFPR of men:

http://econofact.org/where-have-all-the-male-workers-gone

Simply by removing Obama's anti-capitalist policies, that long decline in the male LFPR is starting to reverse, because the male dominated industries are once again surging.

Of course it’s the truth. It always amazes me how wingers can doubt the record streak of economic growth and jobs growth under Obama. You lived through it. You observed it. And yet your brainwashing was so intense that you deny it.

A true testament to the power of GOP brainwashing.

Just Zerohedge? No Infowars?

It’s quite ironic - you look to the source that brainwashed you to deny that you’re brainwashed. The reality, of course, is that the record streak of economic growth and jobs growth under Obama has continued into the Trump era. Trump’s contribution has been limited to not screwing it up (yet). Yet you denigrate Obama and heap praise on Trump.

A perfect example of winger brainwashing.

lies damned lies and statistics. wages always go up when we get close to full employment. Then there are the number of cities pushing min wage up. The LFPR hasn't changed.

what anticapitalist rule has Trump rolled back?

Dodge noted - you run from the facts. The reality, of course, is in the facts (the ones you run and hide from).
