Obtaining phone logs of political rivals is a stunning abuse of congressional power.

Abuse of power anyone?

Fanatics can justify any action, and House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff this week demonstrated where that mindset leads. In his rush to paint Donald Trump as a lawbreaker, Mr. Schiff has himself trampled law and responsibility.

That’s the bottom line in Mr. Schiff’s stunning decision to subpoena the phone records of Rudy Giuliani and others. Mr. Schiff divulged the phone logs this week in his Ukraine report, thereby revealing details about the communications of Trump attorneys Jay Sekulow and Mr. Giuliani, ranking Intelligence Committee member Devin Nunes, reporter John Solomon and others. The media is treating this as a victory, when it is a disgraceful breach of ethical and legal propriety.

He even looks like a Nazi! It's time for a Special Prosecutor.

Funny how your article leaves out that this "member of the press" was coordinating with both Nunes and Giuliani schemes to put out Russian propaganda in an effort to aid Trump's illegal bribery scheme in Ukraine.

It is fascinating how completely you leftists have surrendered all semblance of personal autonomy to the party. You even STRICTLY reference “bribery” rather than quid pro quo - at precisely the cadence the party demands. Whether or not Trump withheld the previously calculated and budgeted aid to Ukraine pending some desired action...it’s pretty lousy to label it “bribery”. The foreign aid was already forthcoming and quantified...to the dollar.

I really don’t care whether the filthy criminal leftists impeach the filthy criminal Trump. I will, however, continue to observe you soulless hacks who surrender even vocabulary sovereignty to the movement.

Very empty people you are.

Those words came from Trump himself before the Dems ever investigated. Quid pro quo is what the Republicans called it. But another name for "quid pro quo", or, " this for that" does actually fall under the category of bribery when the "this", is a official govt act, and the "that", is payment in exchange for the official act.

You and I both know he used the control over those funds, through the power of his office, in an attempt to get a personal benefit to himself from Ukraine. Yeah you don't care if he violated his oath, obstructs justice, openly continues to attempt to cheat in the upcoming election or if his is disloyal to this nation either. Nor do you care that the GOP is pushing the same debunked Russian propaganda to defend him. You care about hating "Leftist", the nation, it's laws, and its actual sovereignty be damned.

By your (non-sovereign, robotic party-driven) standards, every president “violates” his “oath of office”...you simply observe it when it is not a Democrat (and you call it...to the syllable...precisely what the DNC tells you to call it).

If I sound somehow apathetic or disinvested in politics, please allow me to clarify. I am disinvested in citizen hacks who are unserious stooges for their relative parties. Folks like this don’t deserve to be Americans. It’s a shame that blessing is squandered on self-absorbed morons and stooges.

Obtain phone records via subpoena is standard procedure in any criminal, political or cival investigation. Your fake outrage is laughable.

For prosecutors yes. Adam Schiff is only a prosecutor in his twisted mind. He's a Congressman with no prosecutorial powers.

Yes, he is an investigator.

In the impeachment process as outlined in the US Constitution, the House of Representatives act as a de facto prosecutors, The US Senate act as Impartial Jurors and the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS presides over the trial.

The US House of Representatives appoint Managers to Prosecute their case as outlined by the articles of impeachment forwarded to the US Senate for trial. The person being tried has a right to his own defense team to cross examine witnesses against him and call exculpatory witnesses . That’s how it works.

The fact that you, Trump, Sean Hannity and all the President’s lackeys in the media, the congress and on the internets don’t like Schiff is irrelevant. It is your twisted mind which seems to be a bit confused about what Schiff is acting as in this procedure. Schiff, being a highly educated and intelligent man knows exactly what he is doing and what his legal role is regarding these matters. You have the whole thing backwards.

What is the "when it's a Democrat" garbage ? Name some instances instead of concocting a fake straw man, and then holding it up for attack as if it were fact, in an attempt to claim you hold yourself above this fray. Otherwise you are practicing the very hackery you claim to preach against.
