"Totalitarian instincts" of the Left are exposed

Jen

Senator
Two actors who are best known for a television sitcom that aired more than a decade ago have found a new lease on life — exposing for all of us of the totalitarian instincts of liberals.

Eric McCormack and Debra Messing of the 1990s TV series “Will and Grace” decided it would be a really good idea to use social media to call for a blacklist of conservatives in Hollywood. Being oh so clever, and knowing exactly what it was they were doing, they opted to couch their fascist instinct as a personal inquiry so that they would know who not to work with.

In response to a Hollywood Reporter tweet announcing that President Donald Trump would be appearing in a Beverly Hills fundraiser in mid-September, Mr. McCormack tweeted, “Hey, kindly report on everyone attending this event so the rest of us can be clear about who we don’t wanna work with. Thx.” Ms. Messing issued her support for the creation of the list shortly thereafter, tweeting the trade magazine should “print a list of all attendees please” adding that “the public has a right to know
.”

Lefty objects to being referred to as "totalitarian" or "fascist", but here it is right out in the open. These two actors join the growing chorus of Lefties that started with Maxine Waters and others who said Lefties should get in the faces of non-Lefties. "Show them they aren't welcome", she said. Hillary echoed the same sentiment.

Certainly these few don't speak for all Lefties. I will assume that a Democrat/ Liberal/ Lefty agrees with this loud group unless they say otherwise.

I agree with it. I believe trump supporters are anti-American. Many are racist, many are selfish. Many are hateful, bigoted and ugly. I don’t condone any violence, but if boycotting many bad people is something they want to do, more power to them.

This isn't new. Some people have already lost their jobs or been discriminated against over their right wing political beliefs. Democrats have no concept of tolerance.

Any one who supports Trump but is too ashamed to have their support be made public, ought to think about why they don't want anyone to know, do the right thing, and stop.

The only thing new about it is that Leftists/ Liberals are stating it right out on the media for everyone to hear. We still have posters here who deny it.......... if they deny that Lefties are absolutely intolerant now..... there's ample proof that they are lying.

Yes leftists are intolerant of racism.....they are intolerant of a corrupt and bigoted president who lies constantly. Etc.

Many on the right are also intolerant of such things......the truly sad thing though is how many on the right ARE tolerant of such things.

You say it's shame for supporting Trump that keeps people quiet.

It's not.
It's the avoidance of being physically battered that does it.
1.A New York City man says he was beaten by a group of teenagers in Manhattan for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.

2. Protesters throw eggs at and spit on Trump supporter.

3. There is a long list of attacks on Trump supporters HERE.

Nope. No Trump supporter is ashamed about supporting him.
Few people want to be beaten up or spat upon by Lefty.

And sadly, Lefty believes the lies he is told.........hook, line, sinker.
Trump and his supporters
*are NOT racist
*are NOT bigoted
Look in your own back yard for that. Democrats. The party of the KKK. The party of slavery.

I disagree with what these actors are doing. It is inevitable that blacklists and ostracism eventually become a tool for the ruling elites to use against the working class and the left. Besides, some Trump supporters are decent people who just don’t understand the world very well. They have a right to act politically without getting a social credit score from a would-be CCP. And sometimes they are right and the liberals or leftists are wrong.

Democrats are the historical party of the KKK. The Republicans are the preferred party of the KKK today.

Trump is even more allied with the white supremacist power structure than Obama or Bush.

In my opinion ALL support for any and all candidates for office should be public.

Sure.
But these sick people want that support to be public so that they can HARM those who support someone they don't like.

Is that your reason for wanting candidate support public? They made it perfectly clear that it's their reason.

No, not so that they can HARM them in any physical way as you suggested above.

So that people can decide whether or not they want to do business with them.

At this point, continuing to support Trump is un American. This is not a normal election. I would hesitate to do business with people that support Trump.

This is why the left is full of bigotry. You hate that which does not agree with your distorted view of the world.

They don't want to go public because the left is made up of violent fascists. It's as simple as that.

And yes, people should take that into consideration when they decide on who they support.

Fascism is typified by hatred of the left. You can’t be fascist without wanting to extinguish the left.

Well that's BS. I have C&P the definition of fascism several times and it does not mention "hatred of the left".

Look at Antifa. That is what fascism is.
