Trump has turned US military into a Guns For Hire outfit.

Trump can't think beyond the needs of his fragile ego and anything having to do with the exchange of cash. Republicans probably like this....renting out our troops. They'd probably privatize the military if they could.

The other thing....Trump can't control his mouth....so he admits and brags about this sleazy action. Why does the Pentagon go along? Gawd knows.
The Pentagon goes along because we have an American administration, and it is the Pentagon's job to follow orders.

You're like a chick who tells herself she's not a whore, but gives up the ass when he buys her a car.

Lie as much as you want, to whoever you want, but you should never lie to yourself, guy.
You mean prostitute not whore. Because a one doesn't necessarily charge, but the other most certainly does. And if she is asking for the money up front. You know which of the two she is.

Now we're making progress. Yeah. Our entire system is corrupt. This is why americans are left with "Oh yeah?!? Well your guy's more corrupt than my guy, so there!"

Prostitution
Prostitution is the business or practice of engaging in sexual activity in exchange for payment. Prostitution is sometimes described as sexual services, commercial sex or, colloquially, hooking. It is sometimes referred to euphemistically as "the world's oldest profession" in the English-speaking world. A person who works in this field is called a prostitute and is a type of sex worker.Wikipedia

She sounds like she would make a fine first lady or first concubine. If the latter, she could bed down with Baron as his nanny to alleviate any possible confusion that might arise regarding Don's faithfulness to his third babymomma.

Truman.

Truman was the first president in a long time who came to office without a significant personal fortune or who left the presidency without a collection of outlandishly wealthy supporters who put him into office to start with. He and Mrs Truman left town by train the day after Eisenhower's inauguration without any particular fanfare or even a press release. Somehow word got out as to when they would arrive in Missouri to resume residence at the big old family home where, in fact, Bess Truman had been living for many months. They were greeted at the station in Independence by an impromptu welcoming crowd. Not long after she left off the freeze-out she imposed on her husband when he nuked two cities in Japan the first lady decided it was really Washington she disliked and left town except for official functions.

There was no provision for a Senate or Presidential pension in those days. Not much of anyone had ever needed one before. Ulysses Grant had struggled a little but wrote a hugely popular autobiography and left his family a fortune. Truman was left with no income other than an army pension. He was entitled to a monthly check for having commanded a company of 150 men in World War I but not for having been the commander-in-chief who conquered Europe and Asia

And he also supported single payer healthcare.

Essentially all Dems since FDR supported a universal healthcare system of some kind or another.

Like with most of our difficulties it's the Republicans that are at the center of the problem.
So what kept Obama with a Democratic majority in the House and a filibuster-proof Democratic majority in the Senate from passing universal health care?

Insurance companies, Republicans, and a year long professionally run media campaign (which spent a million dollars a day) to defeat or water down the legislation. Otherwise we would have had a national public health insurance agency through the Public Option.
