Trump now says criticising Israel

Clearly Israel did it. To what other nation could one assign blame? Israel even apologized for it. I'm not sure why that, of all things, is being continually brought up here. There are many, far more deadly, far more contemporary attacks, killings, and atrocities committed by NON-JEWISH peoples and nations. Some folks will tend to notice such selectivity and attribute some sort of motivation for it. You, in particular, have hammered away at the USS Liberty thing for YEARS here. It appears that you assign special weight to certain peoples.
Years? When the topic has been what a great ally to the US Israel has been, I think it necessary to remind people that Israel intentionally committed an act of war. It isn't anti-semitic to criticize Israel, as Trump seems to think. So now that you have criticized Israel you will have to admit that either Trump is wrong or you hate Jews.

By the way...do a search on my nic and the word "liberty". I think you'll find two posts about the USS Liberty in 2012, two in 2013, one in 2014...Doesn't seem like "hammering" to me.

While you are right that there are far more egregious acts against the US...there are none by our "allies" and only criticism of Israel is being outlawed by Trump's XO.

Again, if the democrats are anti-Semites and racists...why are most African Americans and Jews registered democrats?

I know nothing of the BDS movement and the KKK is far more likely to vote republican than democrat. Have you read any of Stephen Miller's email?

Get educated. You have a lot of left-wing anti-semites to defend and apologize for. They're counting on you!

Give my regards to Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley! You going to tell me you don't know who they are, either?

It’s all about the Benjamins baby https://t.co/KatcXJnZLV

Your cowardly dodging of the many examples I've given you of left-wing anti-semites you defend (and vote for) is pathetic, and doesn't go unnoticed. You and your fellow Jew-haters will be named and shamed.

I do not defend anyone. I know of those people and find them indefensible. Now, would you care to answer the question?

I don't think they are, actually.

When you have to lie to make your point, you've lost.

My interpretation of what you meant was more accurate that the assumption that most African Americans and Jews are registered to vote as republicans. Your post was unclear and I chose to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Trump got about 8% of the African American vote.

My post was not unclear. Your grasp of English grammar, apparently, is.

1) I note that Trump is wrong on issues with great frequency. Who cares?
2) Feel free to continue your unique singling out of the only Jewish nation on earth for half-century-old trespass in the face of worse, CURRENT trespasses committed by non-Jewish entities. Why would anyone think anything odd of that, eh?

Why is everyone conflating anti semitism and the boycott Israel movement?
The BDS movement is objectively anti-Semitic, both in that Israel us a refuge for persecuted Jews with nowhere else to go and in that it allies with openly anti-Semitic groups like Hamas.

That said, Trump’s order is dangerous to free speech because it involves the government picking and choosing what politics it finds acceptable, and dangerous to American Jews because it describes Jews as foreigners of suspect loyalty.

lol.

You day 'there is no conflation' and then describe the conflation

And no, the boycott Israel movement is NOT anti semetic any more than the boycott south Africa movement during apartied was anti white.
The boycott S. Africa movement was supported by the ANC, the broad-based multiracial democratic front leading the resistance to apartheid. BDS is only supported by Jew-haters and their dupes.

It isn't anti semetic anymore than the boycott South Africa during apartied movement was anti white.

Nonsense.

Loads of people who are not anti semetic oppose Israel's violation of international law and horrendous and inhumane treatment of Palestinians.

There is nothing anti semitic about opposing a nation's actions and policies

The ANC supports BDS......among others.

Artists and writers
Pink Floyd musician Roger Waters supports BDS.[150][151] Alice Walker, author of The Color Purple, has given her support to BDS and has rejected further editions of The Color Purple from being published in Israel.[152]

In September 2018, 140 artists (including six Israelis) signed an open letter in support of a boycott of Eurovision.[153][154]

In July 2019, after the Open Source Festival in Düsseldorf disinvited the American rapper Talib Kweli for refusing to denounce the BDS movement, 103 artists, including Peter Gabriel, Naomi Klein and Boots Riley, signed an open letter condemning Germany's attempts to impose restrictions on artists who support Palestinian rights.[155]

Political
The African National Congress endorsed BDS in 2012. The party declared itself "unapologetic in its view that the Palestinians are the victims and the oppressed in the conflict with Israel".[156] Following Israel's ground invasion of Gaza in 2014, the Green Party of England and Wales's conference supported "active participation in the BDS movement".[157] Scotland's Green Party endorsed a boycott of Israel in October 2015.[158] Members of the Green Party of Canada voted to endorse BDS in August 2016, despite the objections of the party's leader and sole MP Elizabeth May.[159] In June 2018 the Socialist International issued a Declaration expressing support for "Boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against the Israeli occupation, all the occupation institutions, and the illegal Israeli settlements including the total embargo on all forms of military trade and cooperation with Israel as long as it continues its policies of occupation and Apartheid against the Palestinian people".[160][161] In 2014, an international Jewish group, Jews for Palestinian Right of Return, issued a list of signatories endorsing the American Studies Association academic boycott of Israel.[162] The Israeli activist organization Boycott from Within supports the BDS campaign. Boycott From Within regularly releases statements calling on musicians to cancel concerts scheduled in Israel.[163] After the German parliament declared that the BDS movement was antisemitic, a group of 60 Israeli academics responded with a letter that criticized the motion and said it was part of a larger effort to delegitimize supporters of Palestine.[164]

Trade unions
The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) supports the campaign for BDS against Israel, fully endorsing it in July 2011.[165] During the 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict, COSATU vowed to "intensify" their support for the campaign, picketing Woolworths for stocking Israeli goods.[166]

In April 2014, the UK's National Union of Teachers, the largest teacher's union in the EU, passed a resolution backing boycotts against Israel.[167] In July of that year, the UK's Unite the Union voted to join BDS.[168]

In April 2015, the Confédération des syndicats nationaux, Quebec, Canada, representing 325,000 in nearly 2,000 unions, voted to join the campaign for BDS and support a military embargo against Israel.[169]

On 11 September 2019, the British Trades Union Congress passed a motion titled "Palestine: supporting rights to self-determination", called for the prioritization of “Palestinians’ rights to justice and equality, including by applying these principles based on international law to all UK trade with Israel”, and declared its opposition to “any proposed solution for Palestinians, including Trump’s 'deal', not based on international law recognising their collective rights to self-determination and to return to their homes”.[170]
etc. etc.
