Trump rally in St. Augustine and Tampa today. I watched it.. along with

Barbella

Senator
30,000 others. "Likes" and "Love" buttons were floating by like crazy...it was a sight to behold. Media is full of shit when they insist Trump is losing.... there's no way.

Also, The Donald was sincere, articulate, smart, and downright presidential. Much, MUCH more likable and trustworthy than that Clinton woman... LOL

LOL indeed.

I do have some questions about the rally though.

How many swastikas did you count among the tattoos in the crowd ? Did the Klan recruitment drive do as well as usual with that crowd ? Were you groped by any wanna be Trumps ?

Dude, the KKK is ancient history. You need a new bogeyman.

Loser Hillary's Last Hurrah

He's using an up-to-date way of campaigning. Social media are what television was for JFK and radio was for FDR. The sole reason that Howard Dean even had a chance for the nomination in 2004 was because he used the Internet rather than out-of-date methods. Also, there is no one on the Dumbocrats' side like Diamond and Silk. TV Hillarosaurs like Bill Maher are anachronisms.

What's really fascinating, for me, is just how ineducable right-wingers are. They make the same mental errors again and again and seem to have no ability to learn from their mistakes. As I mentioned in a recent post, all the conservative talk of "skewed polls" and over-sampling of Democrats we're hearing today echoes exactly similar claims in 2012, and yet in 2012 it turns out that the polls actually UNDERESTIMATED Obama's support. And, similarly, the conservatives in 2012 were absolutely convinced a Romney landslide was coming based in part on his ability to turn out a big crowd for his events:

Crowd sizes don't mean anything when it comes to elections. They're a measure of the enthusiasm of a statistically miniscule base, not of widespread appeal. If huge crowds mattered, Ron Paul would have been the 2012 GOP nominee, and Sanders would have been the 2016 Democratic nominee.

At least when it comes to presidential elections, they're won or lost based on the appeal to tens of millions of marginally political people -- people who'd never bother to go to a campaign rally, but will do their civic duty on election day. Every now and then you get a rock-star candidate with crossover appeal, like Obama in 2008, but that shows up in the polls, not just in big campaign events.

You live in an alternate universe. To put those obscurities, Diamond and Silk, into context, they have 158,000 twitter followers. Bill Maher has 5.59 million twitter followers. Their following is a rounding error next to his.

The KKK was pushed almost into extinction, but it's been rising again.
Really...rising again? Given that it was the enforcement arm of Southern Democrats, who's been pumping it up again>>>>>>> Northern Democrats or all Democrats?

I would think it would be obvious. Throughout its history, the KKK's base has been consistent. It represents white, southern, protestant, undereducated, rural xenophobic bigots. Once upon a time that was also the Democratic Party's base. Now it's the GOP's base. The parties swapped, but the demographic alignments didn't, nor did the essence of the rhetoric (irrational fear of the "other" hiding behind states-rights window dressing).

Yeah right. lol

1860's Democrats owned African Americans for their labor. Fast forward 150 years and it's for their vote.

You bring up another good point. You can also see the switch of the parties by looking at African Americans. When the GOP was the more moral party, nearly all blacks were Republicans. Now that the Democrats are the moral party, nearly all blacks are Democrats.
