Moscow Mitch he will have to forbid senators from talking to the media during the trial. Now he will also forbid them from watch any of it either.

I guess they will have to use their Franking privileges and go back to old fashion chain mails to spread their lies and talking points among each other.

Mike Pence, Victoria Toensing, Joe diGenova, Sean Hannity, and Bill Barr all seem to be in on this shady little scheme cooked up by Rudy (The human hand grenade) Giuliani and Trump. Hopefully Parnas will be testifying before the US Senate soon.

I want to hear more about the Robert F Hyde character and his involvement too. This is getting shadier and more Russian moblike by the day.

    From the indictment

PARNAS’s efforts to remove the Ambassador were conducted, at least in part, at the request of one or more Ukrainian government officials.

I think Hyde was angling to please Donald and Putin by having Yovanovitch murdered in Ukraine and using that murder as a way to make Ukraine America's enemy by convincing the American public that the Ukrainian government was responsible. That would give Donald leverage over Ukraine and would position Putin for further incursions into that "lawless" country. Donald's hands are way dirty in this.

In what country did you go to school? in our country, politicians cannot grant immunity from prosecution- not part of their job description. they are not connected directly to the judicial system, like a district attorney or prosecutor or judge. only people from some other country might believe something that silly.

As usual. Wrong. Look these things up before you talk about them- please.

If the full House or Senate, or two-thirds of a congressional committee, vote to issue a subpoena to a witness who refuses to testify, a federal court will order that person to appear and answer questions -- and the answers cannot be used against them in any criminal proceeding. aka - immunity.

    from the article you sourced-

A witness who refuses to testify or produce documents solely on the basis of the first amendment,22 however, does so at his peril. There is no independent body to rule on the propriety of the assertion while the hearing is in session. There can be no certainty until the matter is finalized by the judiciary, because the Supreme Court, in Barcnblatt, committed itself to a "balancing test" whenever first amendment rights are at stake. The Court will balance the public need for information via the investigative pro

    You really cannot read.

First - It's 'shall' not 'may or may not'

Congress is empowered to give immunity to witnesses who might otherwise be inclined to avoid a committee hearing, protecting them from having their statements later used against them in a criminal prosecution.
Congress can also grant immunity to witnesses in exchange for testifying.

This is a crony of Giuliani and Donald “15,000 Lies” Trump. No one expects that their cronies will always be honest.

But Parnas’s first hand account of Trump’s shakedown scheme is fully corroborated by documents and the other witnesses. Trump, Moscow Mitch, and their GOP co-conspirators in the Senate will just ignore the account. You people hate facts.
