"The Star-Ledger reported that while there were widespread rumors of celebrations by Muslims in Newark and Paterson — a city with an estimated 25,000 Muslim residents, the second-most of any U.S. town — police and local leaders denied they ever took place.

There's nothing Republicans won't lie about.

Yup. It didn't happen. Yet he claims he "saw" it.

No worries though - the GOP rabble like the lie, so they won't hold it against him.

He claims he saw thousands of Muslims in Jersey City cheering on 9/11 when the WTC towers came down.

An absurd lie.

Trump? In Jersey City?

...It is unclear where Trump — a New York real estate mogul — was in Jersey City during the terrorist attacks or why he was there.

A spokeswoman for Trump's campaign did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop, a likely Democratic candidate for governor in 2017, wrote on Twitter on Sunday morning that Trump's account was "absurd."...

Trump actually has real estate holdings in Jersey City, which is across the Hudson from Manhattan, but I doubt he was there on 9/11. Even if he was, he could not have seen thousands of Muslims cheering the 9/11 attacks, because it didn't happen.

He's got some 'splainin' to do.

Crikey. This Trump lie was so bad that GOP cultists don't even try to defend it.

You think he should retract it?
Eh, Obama and other hacks have told bigger lies and gotten away with it. I don't see a need for such honesty at this point. Perhaps circumstances will dictate some sort of walking back if he gets the nomination.

Alright then. You can't bring yourself to call for a retraction. You need not turn in your GOP beanie.

I will call for Trump's retraction right after you call for Obama's and Hillary's retractions of their lies. If you deny that Obama and Hillary have lied........... you'll just get my derision and laughter that you're so gullible.

Telling.

We always say that GOP cult members have no problems with their cult leaders' lying.

You cultists prove it.

"Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down," the billionaire businessman and former Atlantic City casino tycoon said during a rally in Birmingham, Ala., according to video of the Saturday event. "And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.

"So something's going on," Trump continued. "We've got to find out what it is."

Does anyone else find Trump ' s constant repeating of himself on almost every issue indicative of how tiny his reptilian brain really is?

When I hear a lie I will call Trump or Carson or whoever out on it. When a known liar like you reports it........sorry.
But yes. Very telling that you are fine with Obama and Hillary lies that have been added in video links all over the place here such that you can't have conveniently missed them.

WOW!

Do you REALLY want to contend that Trump didn't lie there? Is your GOP cultism THAT strong?

Don't you want to preserve even a slight shred of dignity?

Nah.....no one has any " Splainin" to do anymore to anybody.....this is where you are mistaken. Truth no longer plays a part in American Politics....spectacular statements do though and as they go .... true or not .....Trump's statement is a highly polarizing vote getting machine....sure a few people will be disgusted and call him a liar.....but they never intended to vote for him anyway. The ones who are undecided but leaning in his direction will be motivated by that statement.

And here I thought you were a professional propagandist instead of an Amateur Bugsy.

Trump's statement is a highly polarizing vote getting machine?

What a bizarre way to describe a flat-out, stone-cold, baldfaced lie.

What a silly notion. So let's see your calls for Hillary to retract laughing about strangling Carly Fiorina.

No....retractions are for weaklings....especially in American Politics...all who retract also die. You seem to be under misapprehension that anyone gives a shit. I guess you haven't been paying attention to Hillary Clinton's entire career.

A truly telling statement.

You people have NO interest in honesty.

None.
