Iran DOES represent a threat to US security
Iran does have a presence in Iraq and many nations in the mid east--why shouldn't they, it is their backyard after all?
So we are returning forces to the mid east to counter the Iranian threat?
--distance from the US to Venezuela = 1,763 miles
--distance from the US to Iraq = 6,900 miles
--number of Iranian and Hezbollah troops/advisers in Venezuela = uncertain, anywhere from hundreds to thousands depending on training and joint exercise schedules with Venezuelan military, but they are there
-- range of the best Iranian missile= 1400 miles and improving all the time
how long do we wait while Iran, Hezbollah and Russia build up forces in Venezuela?
what is more "vital to US security?" The continental US or someone else's nation in the mid east?
US forces being sent to the MID EAST are going the wrong way--they should be going to Columbia and Brazil
